Is vista still a good operating system for games? Trying to save money on not having to buy a new windows. Its 32 bit vista.

ionusX

it would be better if it was 64-bit but fully patched and updated vista is basically windows 7 by another name XD you even get dx11

Exactly as long as you have a high end computer, been using Vista for gaming since launch.

Sweet thanks, and yep, I definitely do not want any laptop with Intel HD graphics, cause it's not dedicated. The only thing with the Samsung is that it has an i3, would be better with the i5.

Hey guys, I'm looking to purchase a new laptop in Canada. It's mostly just for business, but I still want it to have a few good specs, specifically a mid to high end CPU and GPU. I also don't want the price to be higher than $700 (before tax), can you guys recommend some? So far this is the only one that I like.

Samsung NP300V5AS01CA

EDIT: I also found a few more laptops.

Sony VPCEB46FDBJ

Asus K73SV-DH51

Dell XPS 15 (i5 2450M (2.50 GHz), GeForce 525M 1GB, etc.)

[QUOTE="SslagleZ28"] No, but within your price range probablygmaster456

What is the GPU best right now?

The best gaming cards you can buy right now is the HD5970 and the GTX 580 but they are wayy beyond your price range

The ATI 6800 series is cheaper than the ATI 5900 series?

So the nVidia 460s and ATI 6800 series are the best GPUs currently?

Hey guys. I found out that my 8800GT suddenly stopped working a few months ago and I am looking to buy a new GPU. I live in Canada and want to spend about $150 to $180 before tax but I'm out of date on the new graphic cards. Please reccomend me some good cards thank you. :)

Plus, it's the new 360 which means that there is no way to get RROD and it's a shiny new console.

I try and get most of the achievements and if they are too hard then I just play the game mostly for fun.
