People ain't scared of anything anymore. You wanna make a horror game, you need to find a different approach. Maybe a bomb defusing game. That could be scary. Explosive Evil 2.
I just recently bought a new computer for gaming. I can install games like Unreal 3, Gears of War, Bioshock and Modern Warfare 2 just fine. But when I tried Devil May Cry 4 and Resident Evil 5, my DVD drive will make the rapid grinding noises like if it has a hard time reading the discs. And the progress bar is almost not moving. I searched the net for the solution and I found that few people seem to have the same problem with RE5, but there was no solution, yet. I suspect that there are something wrong about the DVD discs they are using.
I have the same "Firewallinstallerhelper.dll"problem. I deleted all registry about gears of war. Now, when I insert GOW dvd and run autorun. I get INSTALL option instead of PLAY option. But When I click install, after few preparation. The setup asked me about removing game files and led to "Firewallinstallerhelper.dll" problem. I tried Revo Unistaller. I found a skull icon with a name of "install..." something. I deleted that, too, but it didn't work either.
