they never said they will not port it to pc. they just said that it is not something that they plan to do yet. but lately they have been hinting to a release according to rumors. and gtaiv on pc had independence which i loved and the movie editor which was very awesome but the game was too unoptimized. though even i managed to tweak it to work well but that meant reducing the visual quality.

well if the ps3 version is buggy the pc version will be a million times worse. the pc version of gta 4 was one of the worst ports in the history of everything. it was just a cheap port with more flaws than you could think. i dont know why but some people still say its the superior version. i really couldnt stand the freezes bugs crashes updates not working loading times sometimes really weird and the first few patches just made it worse...only 1.0.6.0 made things better coz it removed the rockstar games social club. i really tink the console versions are superior than the cheap pc ports. maybe the graphics are better on pc but the bugs are not

what do you people think? is it ever going to come? i really want this game but i dont want to buy it twice.
my brother doesnt own a ps3 and never will but we both own really good pcs. i really would like to play this on lan or online with my bro
but i dont want to have to buy it again if i buy it now for ps3. how long after the console release of gta4 did it take for rockstar to announce the pc port?
i just really want to play it...red dead revolver never did make it to pc...but all gta games are on pc...so what do u think?

it kinda takes for a while for the game to do the initial loading since the game doesnt really install itself on the hard disk like other games so every time you start it kinda unpacks some things and all that stuff...it takes a while sometimes even longer then others...u just have to let it spin. if the dagger stops spinning then you do have a problem...or if it spins for more than a minute or so

yes from a technical point of view it cant...it cant do anything to the player yet people say that it happened. but mst probably those people were careless and had scratched games.

if your blu ray player starts crashing on any game after you played that one game then it did kill your system...even if after you download a certain patch for a certain game your ps3 refuses to connect to internet then yes it did kill your system. people report that it happens

even if it does come out on pc i guess on ps3 its waaay better. gta4 was really bad on pc. some might not agree but i played it on both the ps3 and pc and i have to say the pc one was waay too flawed and lost alot of its quality.
and i guess if u look for threads of freezing you would find threads of freezing. you convinced me. next game im getting is RDR.

that is some good news. and im stressin about this because these things really scare me. and yeah all rockstar games get critically acclaimed yet all of them are bugged ALOT. i dont need to post any links. if u just google red dead redemption killed my ps3 there are lots of threads. even comments on youtube videos showing freezes and all that. does anyone have a 250gb slim and can confirm that the game didnt fail on it?

i have a ps3 slim 250gb and its fairly new i think its about 3 months old and i love it and it works perfectly never had any real problems with it.
now i have wanted red dead redemption since it came out yet everywhere i look i find threads saying that the game freezes all the time and u cant get past 20 mins in some cases. some people reported their ps3 refusing to connect to wireless after having rdr freezing on them. others report that all the games after playing rdr start to glitch and freeze. even if they used to work perfectly before! people say it killed their blu ray players. others say ps3 refuses to start after several freezes.

is this problem fixed now? i mean this game is most probly getting game of the year and it freezes and kills ps3? i dont think so.

is there anyone who has my same ps3 model and has never had any problems with this game? is there someone who had this prob and now its fixed? i really love my ps3 and i dont want anything to happen to it.

also is there a possibility that this game will come out on pc?

so lately my pc has been making some whistling noise i have no idea where its coming from. it just starts and stops. it doesnt happen everytime i turn it on. it just happens at random. the sound is like a wheel with something wrong. it may be one of the fans?? hard disk? i sure hope its not the hard disk. also my gfx card siezed yesterday. pc just behaved normally its just the gfx card turned itself off. its obviously due to overheating here in malta its like a bazillion degrees and it happens a couple of times every summer. could that noise be coming from the gfx card? i dont understand much on pc hardware so please help =/
