Hey guys,

Could someone help me lead me in the right direction towards properly leveling a Tank type character. I think I have knight armor, and a two handed sword (forget the name), and am currently in Blight Town.

What skills should I focus on if I want to tank it all out?

I saw a couple of YouTube vids of related PVP builds and noticed Vitality, Endurance, Strength, and a little Dexterity are used quite alot.

Any advice on leveling? A good video would be nice, cause I'm having trouble finding a good Tank type video.

Hello,

So I have this team in mind so far (and plan on retraining them all to boost stats for max competitive play).

I must mention that the ones I have so far have been boosted in all stats. I figured, that by using that punching bag mini game to boost all stats, it would make my pokemon all powerful, but my brother and some online guides have proven me wrong.

I also would like to mention that I'm literally going to redo EVERYONE of these pokemon little by little to have a good team, hence why I don't list their actual nature and abilities.

My brother said to swap out Pikachu for Jolteon for speed, though people on the Miiverse said I should just evolve to Raichu. But again, I didn't EV train it correctly anyway so I might as well start over with these Pokemon.

What I am asking you guys is what Pokemon should be replaced. Also, what abilities and natures should I look for on the GTS app? What movesets should each of these individual pokemon have, and what strats should I use?

If you guys can even point me in the right direction in terms of links, that would be fine too because these are VERY BROAD questions.

Here's the team I have in mind:

Blastoise

Alakazam

Arcanine

Mienfoo

Pikachu

Garchomp

Yeah, so basically I've focusing on three teams so far:

1. Terra, Gau, Mog, Cyan

2. Celes, Gogo, Edgar, Strago

3. Relm, Sabin, Setzer, Locke

After like two days of just straight grinding so far, I've been able to get the first team to level 65, BUT I didn't power level with espers so I have to go back and force each character to learn spells lol, but it should be a little quicker since they're better off anyway and its not like a level is needed, its more or less progress towards spells.

But yeah, after really focusing on what the espers actually do, I'm starting to get the hang of leveling a particular spell up and swapping espers amongst party members. I think I read that espers were key to this game, but I had no idea up to this point that your summons truly dictate what spells you will learn --> I think I was so used to the fact that some characters are just built to be brutal lol (like Sabin)

Either way, I just got Strago to level 50 while those in the second team around near or around lvl 60 but they are being power leveled with good spells.

Its a shame that I have to go back and redo the spell work for the first group but at least now I know what I'm doing.

Though, a random question I had, would it be better to equip Strago with a fire staff instead of healing right?

Just a thought.

I do have that Moogle charm by the way, so you're saying it would help at the tower right?

^ Hey thanks a bunch man!

Okay, I'll definitely grind at the Dinosaur forest and kill a bunch of brachiosaurs for some economizers and try to level up the magic spells for each character.

Should I strictly use a set of espers for all 4 members that will deal good damage or heal right?

I think I read that later on in the tower you can swap equipment between the teams, but are espers tied to a single party member or they can be easily swapped as long as you trained with them right?

Hello,

So I'm pretty much stuck at Kefka's tower and most characters are at around level 55 for the most part, but the last team I'm working on is Terra, Gau, Mog, and Cyan.

The point I wanted to ask, is how to necessarily boost the magic abilities of all characters to handle the end game?

I tried the tower earlier but my characters don't know that much magic abilities so I figured it was tied to either Magic Points (no duh!) or Esper usage that I didn't account for early on.

Its been a while since I tried to play this game and this place really stumps me.

I've been trying to grind in the area south of Miranda that looks like a desert, but do you guys know any other tips of what to do before Kefka's tower?

Thanks a bunch and have a good one!

@redskins26rocs: Ah I see

Yeah, I know its old... But damn, Zsnes is emulating Super Nintendo. I would maybe understand N64 Emus screwing up with frame rate..

But a game in question, whether it is playing a Super Nintendo emulator or Prince of Persia (a 3D game obviously), it'll lag for about 5 seconds, and resume, but I swear, its the same pattern everytime it happens.

I don't think its a video card issue because I updated my drivers, and they're the latest ones... ;(

Hello,

So recently, I've noticed when I play games, like on Super Nintendo via an emulator, or even like a 3D Game like Prince of Persia Warrior Within, my comp will randomly every five or 10 minutes, just noticeable slow down in frame rate for about five seconds, which obviously causes a lot of huge frustration.

I don't understand how it could even stall on simple games like Super Nintendo...

Anyway, so its an older machine running Windows XP, has an Athlon 3800+ single core cpu, X1650 XT video card, 3 gigs of ram, and a 200 gig HDD, that's pretty much full. I do have a spare HDD that I've only backed up my music on, so if its an hdd issue, I could move stuff to that drive too aka an additional 80 gig drive.

Any ideas? I tried scanning with Avast's 'quick' system scan but that took like 20 mins...

Either way, I have time to do a good full scan, so please let me know what free programs I should use to scan for any malware.

Thanks a bunch for reading my post!
