Anyone here enjoyed Resistance 3?

Rented and finished it and I thought its one of the best SP FPS experiences last year.

Yes it had some blatant location rip-offs from other games but the emotional side of the story telling was well thought and impressive.

Yea, it was amazing and had a good challenge. Also, tons of unlockables after the game is completed to give incentive to replay it.

Hey guys. I finally got a PS3. I've had a 360 for a while, and a few Wii's that have all been sold due to..well, I just don't like them. Anyway like my late father would always tell me, "Just wait for the price to go down. You'll find a good deal." I held out and low and behold my local Gamestop has a 60gig BC With 4 USB Ports for $219. I was like HOLYCRAP!! I'm really enjoying it so far. Anyway, I'll be posting on this forum alot and look forward to talkin with y'all.

I believe it, when i went to BestBuy during the shopping season all I saw wereparents with Kinect bundles presumably for their kids. This is why I'm pretty much done with M$, no exclusives and they have officially gone after the casuals while essentially abandoning the Hardcore audience, all in favor of money. New IP's push the industry forward and help evolve the industry.Not one new IP since when from M$? Call of Duty plays best on 360 and that's the only reason I own the damn thing. I have 7 games on 360, 25 on PS3. I support SONY because of the quality games they have delivered this Gen while keeping online play entirely free. Basically, the 360 is the new Wii and it's sad. I'm definitely looking forward to the Witcher 2 though, that should be a great addition to 360 library if it stays exclusive.

Read an article today in the new GI with phil spencer and he states that ms has been focusing on bringing the xbox brand into houses that it wouod never have had a chance to enter and that they are well aware that they need to develop high quality core ip in order to be relevant with all gamers.... basically its the truth that everyone has known who actually have a brain. Ms has an incredibly healthy core lineup through third party and enough first party stuff to keep them very relevant till the conclusion of this generation when they announce knew high quality ip to carry their xbox brand forward.... not casual not kiddie, just business and moving the brand forward. Not stiffleing it or destroying it as some morons with zero business sense would want you to believe, just moving it forward.TheEroica

That's complete crap, they have nothing to appeal to a large crowd from an exclusive perspective. Everything is Kinect, Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable. This is what they push. I guess if they were the only company it would look good but comared to SONY the amount of games and variety is pretty pathetic. They do beat SONY and are pretty much on par with Nintendo in terms of taking care of the Casuals if that means anything to the industry though.

What is going with Microsoft? Xbox been dry with no games since 2009, all they have is Gears, forza and halo. whats the deal here?

I wouldn't rant and rave about MGS4, although it does look and playbetter than anything on XBOX 360 but that's not saying too much.

Hey moron, I own REAL games on my PS3 like MGS4, UC2&3, Demon's Souls, Killzone 2&3, God of War 3, Resistance 2&3, Infamous 2, and many more. Looks like you're the single console owner who has to play multiplats because XBOX exclusives suck badly.

As time has passed, I have grown sick of 360 and the direction M$ has taken with the Casual support rather than new IP's. That's a way to make money, not progress the gaming industry by making better games. If it wasn't for COD being better on 360 and getting earlier DLC I'd sell that POS in a heartbeat, The exclusives are absolute trash and paying to play online is pathetic. Not to mention the polluted community of kids that are basically babysat by XBOX Live. Guess I'm a SONY fanboy after all...

I agree with you, the exclusives flat out suck, specifically Halo. Most here are in denial because this is pretty much spot on.
