I totally agree. I have refused to pay 60 bucks for a game the entire time. I don't play multiplayer so I get games for the single player campaign. And thats getting shorter and shorter all the time. I played MW2 and it took maybe 6hrs, if that. that is not worth my 60 bucks. good thing I waited until I could get it under 30. I wait for every game to go under 40, and even longer if I can curb my craving. I rarely buy DLC because its just map packs or costumes.

Digital distribution? no way either. I've only bought 2 games online, Super Star Dust HD, 1942 Joint Strike. they were okay. but I prefer the disc that I can take to any friends house and play. I can transfer the disc to any other system. not too mention you can resell them, buy them used, or collect them as I do. I totally fear the day it all becomes digital, that will be the day I stop buying new systems.

wow...I mean wow. I fear if games go this way. I wont play them anymore. I found Far Cry 2 to be one of the most repetitive games I've ever had the misfortune to play. not to mention that it had nothing to do with the first and should never have been called far cry 2. But then I also dont like other completely sand box games like gta, or fallout 3.

they are just now figuring this all out? since games were invented we've been buying used games lol...why dont they make a game worth buying new to begin with...I'm a single player fan and cant justify paying 60 bucks for a single player campaign that only lasts 8-10hrs....becuase of this I refuse to pay more than 40 bucks for any game. I either wait to buy it new when it drops, OR used. make a good game, and I'll buy it new. make a horrible single player or short game, I'll wait for it to drop. its as simple as that.

I had an iphone 3GS...I also owned a DSi XL, and a PSP before I bought the iphone. As far as games go on the iPhone, they were okay. But they aint got a hope against a true handheld made for games. I demo'd several games on the 3GS, and only kept 2. Both of which I only played a few times because the DS had the same games, on bigger screens, and easier to control. Sure they cost more, but you get what you pay for pretty much. I ended up selling the iPhone because it was inferior to several other new Android based phones on the market, which did not use propriatery programs to transfer stuff to and from, larger screens, better coverage, the list goes on. I will never buy another Apple product because of the proprietary programs needed to run them. And never ever buy a phone of any brand for the gaming library. nothing compairs to the handhelds designed specifically to play games...sorry Apple.

Hey folks, I have an AMD 2.4ghz dual core processor, 2gb ram, and a 8600gt 512mb video card. I run cryis at whatever resolution it installs at, and medium settings for everything else. I just wanted to play it safe. can I go higher with the settings? the graphics are nice on medium. but I would just like to know how high I can go and still be playable fun?
