Hey guys

So I'm itching for a new game to play. Haven't played a FPS in a while (not since Battlefield 3...) so was thinking of picking R6:S up, anyone know if its any good? I don't have a headset though besides the standard ear bud, so dunno if that would work against me...

thanks!

When I'm looking for second hand guitar stuff I have a couple of places I look (PreLoved, Gumtree etc)

Was wondering if theres something like that for PC's? I'm wanting to build something later in the year, a second hand screen or mechanical keyboard/mouse would be a good way to save a bit of cash.

Anyone know of any sites like that for the UK?

*edit* or any Forums worth having a look at?

thanks!

I'm in much the same situation as OP, thinking about putting something together now XCOM2 has been made PC only (and Fallout 4 is on the way...), though I'd probably not have the funds until the end of the year at this rate as I'm starting from scratch.

With Skylake and W10 coming in the second half of the year I'll probably aim to wait a little while after the jump.

With this kind of next-gen leap in tech, are there usually any issues with backwards compatibility/system stability issues that I should be aware of when it all kicks off?

Hi everyone, Looking to build my first gaming PC in the new year, aiming for mid range for the time being. Based on Mark Walton's (Gamespot UK) Build Your Own Steambox article, my budget is around the £500 mark. So far I'm looking at; CPU- i5 2400 RAM - G.Skill F3 -12800CL9T-6GBNQ 8GB HD - Seagate Barracuda 500 GB Serial ATA-600 3.5" From there I need help picking out; Motherboard - I understand I need a Z68, but which one? PSU - something reliable, recommendations welcome GPU - I've read an HD 7850 would do me fine, recommendations? A case that wont make my eyes bleed but also keep all this from melting. It's going next to my PS3 so nothing too massive. Any help is hugely appreciated, and suggestions on the rest of it is also welcome. Thanks in advance
