I'll just repeat what I said because you stubborn fanboys just won't stop it... here are the specs for a 1200USD iMac: 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (crappy) 1GB memory (how is it even possible to run a program with that few RAM?) 250GB hard drive1 (can't believe they were so jewish they went for 250GB NON 10k RPM hard drive...) 8x double-layer SuperDrive ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB memory (do they even sell those on the market right now?) And here are my PC's specs; I built it for around 1000USD 6 months ago: E8400 @ 4.05Ghz 4GB 1000Mhz memory The fastest 7200RPM hard drive on the market 640GB 2X ATi HD4850's Crossfired I won't comment on my PC just to prove that I am not a fanboy. Why would a Mac be "better" for editing? Ever heard of nvidia's Quadro workstation card? Pretty much rapes anything the best Mac can throw at it. Now the new Badaboom thing allows video transcoding on your GPU, which speeds up the work by about 1000%. Good luck @ Mac for something that can top these two facts. I agree with thrashunreal that computers are computers, but price-performance ratio must also be considered. Like I said before, Macs are WAAAAAAAAAY more expensive in terms of price:performance because A) You can't build one yourself therefore you must waste money on labor fee and B) With such a low share of the computer market, Macs have to be that pricey: otherwise Apple would go bankrupt a looooooong time ago.

@THE_BRUTALIZER Just look at the trees in Fallout 3 and GTA 4, if you don't see any difference but the lighting then I don't know what to say. On the console it's jagged on Fallout 3 and blurred on GTA 4.
