If you cared that much of graphic just get a PC imo

aroxx_ab

When I said "looks" I didn't necessarily mean graphics only.  Yes the game looks gorgeous, but I just as excited about the laser scanned tracks, open-wheeled racers, improved physics and AI (or non-AI as Turn 10 calls it).  They are taking the best racing game available and making it even better.

And why does this exactly merit a thread?AcidThunder
Why to give everyone a place to continue ridiculing the Xbox One of course. Did you even read the thread?

How about this - No weather, no night racing and no steering wheel support.

Did I own you? Yeah, I think so.

Cyberdot

Be sure to wash your hands when you're done pulling your facts out of your ass. Thrustmaster is the official partner for Steering Wheel support for FM5.

EDIT: and the Driving Force GT blows donkey balls compared to the Thrustmaster T500RS as well as any of the current gen Fanatec wheels.

[QUOTE="HadOne2Many"]And this is where you go from having a rational conversation to being a complete knob who makes too many presumtions.Wasdie

So you're saying that it's not a tiny amount of gamers that will spend all of that money just for one game?

No I am saying that what I am willing to "spend" (not blow) my money on has nothing to do with the content of my original post, which was "It's a shame so many of you guys are caught up in the circle jerk and will miss out on this game." So wipe the goo off your cheek and stop putting words in my mouth.

Sim races do... not rehashed arcade racers like Forza

IF Forza's not a sim, then i guess all other modern racing games on consoles aren't sims either.

It does lack in many areas needed for a good sim racer (pit strategy, weather, car failure, etc) but when you turn off all assists, use a proper wheel and race against other good drivers online it is very much a sim.

Then you're in the less than 1%. If you want to blow that much just for 1 game that's your prerogative. Given this attitude you don't really speak for the vast majority of gamers making this whole thread kind of pointless and more of just your opinion.

Aint s1t rational about your reasoning.

He brought up the money, not me. I made a thread about how good Forza 5 is looking.

I'm assuming you'll want to play online so I added XBL into that. With a new wheel you're pushing $850.

Wasdie

Still less than I spent on Forza on the 360. May have to add another $1500 or so to that total if they announce triple screen support.

Apart from the ok graphics, I don't see the point of getting this Forza. It has less features, and there will most likely be a Forza 6 which will not lack features like F5.

Seriously if you think that footage warrants an investment in the Xbone, then I will direct you to Project Cars footage which basically has practically everything (dynamic lighting, big texture, high poly cars and environments, etc).

A gaming PC is a way better investment by a huge margin compared to the X1 (especially with the DRM issue + price).

Razor_defiace
At the rate project cars is going, Forza 7 will be out before it sees the light of day. And unless you are already involved in the development, you're shit out of luck until it is released. They already reached their goal and are no longer selling tool packs.
