I would have to say...

Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 2: Oh god Do I ever regret getting this game...perhaps I'm just too used to the CoH/DoW1 RTS style but this one with its squad combat and then psuedo lame RTS multiplayer just made me want to try to return it to the Wal-Mart I got it from.

Dungeons: I even read the review...and I still made the mistake of getting it. "Oh it can't be that bad, it looks pretty good to me." Ergh...remind me never to trust myself ever again.

That reminds me of this one night in town...it was like 11:00pm at the local super Wal-mart. Coming out of the checkout lanes when i spotted a man walk up to a woman with a cart that had just come out of the lane. She immediately starting to get agitated and stand-offish and started raising her voice at him while he was trying to talk.

Almost turned into a shouting match, so I just went over and asked if there was a problem turns out it was a married couple arguing over the cost of the grocery/misc bill and I felt like a complete **** This would be where I readily disagree with Ariz3260 about basing anything upon someones "reaction" to anything. Overtly anxious..agitated people get that way all the time and it has nothing to do with harassment.

Those are standard reactions to stressors and can't be trusted as a legitimate reason to throw yourself into the fray as a white knight based solely upon them. Oh no that man/woman/child/treebranch looks agitated and anxious! WHITE KNIGHT to the rescuuuueee!

Also, not meant to be overly offensive Ariz, I just disagree with you on how I would go about it, but hey each to their own.

This...is just asinine and whats even worse is apparently(unbelievably) theres gamers supporting this idea? I must have fallen into the moron zone without noticing. This all just strikes me as more whining from the game publisher community..."waaah...waaah...we're not making money from every video game in existence...". The thing that makes me wonder is, technically this "law" or whatever, would be rather broad. As in I wouldn't even be able to sell a bloody super metroid game if I wanted. Which makes no sense, what money exactly are they losing from a game that isn't even on the market anymore?

If they think this is going to rake in more cash, or stop anything...they're sadly mistaken. I can pretty much tell you what the response to this if it gets passed will be.

"Arrr...that be a mighty fine video game ye got thar...arr".

Either Gamespot or IGN for me. But I usually pay more attention to the player reviews than the actual paid reviewers as it were. I find if you take a look at a good amount of the bad player reviews along with the good for any particular game, and take a gander at the paid review. You can usually get a pretty good idea of what to expect. I find relying on any one review for a game, whether its professional or not to be a bad idea though.

Could try Disciples Gold, it's more of a RTS than a action adventure but you could give it a look. As for FPS you could give Half Life a try or Unreal.

Diablo, fills me with nostalgia until I remember all the times I was back stabbed and or killed by people using a trainer, the nostalgia tends to fade after that.

Diablo III for sure, I don't want to sound like a broken record but from the looks of the pre-release videos etc. Starcraft II looks like nothing more than a graphical upgrade of the original with a few new units mixed in, not to say anything was bad with Starcraft but I would prefer alittle more...progress I suppose?

Diablo III on the other hand, at least from the vids(assuming things don't change drastically) looks like it is different enough to stand on its own merit without leeching off the success of I or II. While at the same time being similar enough to invoke nostalgia and such from veteran players of the former games.

*****Possible Spoilers*****

Homeworld II- I just didn't really see the big hype on this one, everybody was praising it as an amazing space RTS. I thought the campaign was bland, and there really wasn't a whole lot of strategy to the game. Which is odd considering one of the games big "deals" was the AI supposedly countering you, for instance if you only build two or three types of ships the AI was supposed to build what was needed to utterly obliterate you. Now I didn't play too far into the campaign(for the above reason), but on the skirmish mode all that you had to do was rush build battlecruisers as fast as possible, upgrade 'em and mow over everything in sight.

Sins of a solar empire- I was...to put it lightly, highly disappointed by this game. The entire game just seemed half-baked to me, along with a few really large annoyances. For one, the pirate raids....I know alot of people seemed to find this enjoyable, it just annoyed me though. It doesn't even matter half of the time how much you pay them, I remember one time having a bounty somewhere around 3,500 on an opponent, while they had a measly 1,870. And guess who gets attacked?:o yeah me. Also, I felt it just took forever to gain the resources needed to do much of anything, you've got your opponents running around colonizing like crazy with what might as well be thousands of frigates, and you cant even afford a colony frigate.

The Finally Fantasy series- Yaknow I really cant think of any logical reason for disliking these games, I guess I just never really got into them.

The GTA Series- Same as above, it just didn't click with me i guess.

Any racing game.

Any sports game.
