AC without the modern/future storyline has been nothing more than a shallow experience, for me. I tried hanging onto my joy of the series with the post-AC3 titles, but it just feels like I'm spinning my wheels and getting nowhere. Unity's outrageously lazy "lol whoops, nevermind!!" ending was the last straw for me.
No matter the gameplay tweaks or location changes they make to this series, I won't be coming back to Assassin's Creed until they hire a decent team of writers to bring the series back to its roots that bedazzled me in the first place.
@riotinto876 Repel is a crappy way of dealing with a bad mechanic. There's no reason not to have visible pokemon sprites walking around on the world map by now.
@joke_man @xXl_z3r0_lXx @LittleMac19 I like grass starters, because they usually don't have any catchable grass types for like the first 1/3 of the game, and I like building a leecher.
@torreth1 ... and? You honestly think that they're gonna come out and create a PR nightmare by being arrogant jackholes? They made that mistake once with the release of the PS3, already.
@kerrman @M3o5nster I'll never understand why people have to trash on the controllers of the system they don't like. I've stuck with Sony since the PS1 (for various reasons, none of which are fanboyish in nature), and I like the DS controller. I don't like the xbox controller because it feels huge in my hands, but I'm not about to go saying how horrible and bad it is.
@shinningserpent Considering how the PS3 is only barely behind the 360 after starting a year behind and falling flat on its face on release, you'd have to be delusional to believe that Sony doesn't have a good chance of burying Microsoft come the new generation.
