Because 'gamers' are ignoring the best console to ever be released and its game for irrational reasons.

PS4 is truly the most powerful indie machine ever made.

Bottom line people are purposely depriving themselves of the awesomeness that is XB1. And its not even close to being the true version of itself yet, beta tested in the future ;)

It can't even manage 1080p without chugging like a fat man, what makes you think it will do 1440p?

Well if the super snail like DDR3 memory of XB1 can do 1080p, them the ROP heavy, GDDR5 super fast memory with 66% more shaders in the PS4 should have no problem. Heck maybe 4k even.

I'm more curious when we'll actually see a game on the PS4, let alone the resolution a game displays in.

Yeah the easier to develop for console releases one water down game and the super hard to develop for esram console releases 2 full featured racers..hmm

...

Will we start to see higher resolutions from the 50% more powerful PS4? Maybe 1440p or higher?

Will we see games with more on screen action and more than 6-8 characters on screen?

Will we see more games from the easier to develop for console? Proper games not indie drivel.

Will we get cartoon games that aren't 14fps? Seriously really?

So ask yourselves what the real deal with the PS4?

It's not even as powerful as the 2Tflop PS3.

And when will it win an award for graphics?

Yeah, that's hyperbole. When you play it it doesn't look to chug at all. That's with a ton of zombies being mowed down by the chopper with flames a blazing. So much misinformation out there, it's sad and is a disservice to gamers.

hyperbole? they measured the frame rate, dropping to 22fps is not perfect

and still not sure why you're taking a shot at PC with DR3

It is not perceptible and does not detract from the fun to be had.

On PC it was unplayable though. Just a curiosity that so many system couldn't play the game. But it's not important.

@Bigboi500:

No. Not at all. It is a tremendous console. And dare I say the most technological advanced console in the history of gaming.

I'll listen to digital foundry over a random SW poster.

How about you play the game yourself and judge for yourself and not listen to anyone but you.

I could careless. Do your own research and make your own educated decision about the game you want to buy and enjoy it. Reviews are just someone else's take on something, which is pointless since we have our own taste.

DR3 is capped at 30 FPS and it's poorly optimized.

It's made on DX11 platform with a 7700 amd gpu, it should run flawlessly from the beginning. The XB1 hardware isn't exotic like the Cell processor.
