Im 29 this summer... Been a game player since I was 4 when I got my first NES for Christmas. I'm pretty entrenched in games. Feels like everyone in my generation is still playing, but the kids, they're not so interested in games. Times feel different. I think the reasoning is because games in my day were magical, they literally SUCKED you in. Todays games are good for wasting a bit of time, but there's nothing that grabs the way Super Mario Bros or Street Fighter 2 or the first few Final Fantasys... Times are different now.
