@Pedro: I'm looking forward to Starfield. I've enjoyed Morrowind, Skyrim, and Fallout.

I always wondered what it would be like for MS and Nintendo to merge or collaborate. Given Nintendo's long history in gaming and Microsoft's relatively youthful chutzpah. A joint game venture would be just the right thing to combat the Sony Playstation behemoth.
And especially after the Gamecube and Wii, Wii-U, I think Nintendo should definitely reconsider Microsoft's proposal. A combined Microsoft and Nintendo would also encompass distinctly Eastern and Western game tastes and franchises.
@Areez They should have had a longer open beta. Hopefully it doesn't last too much longer. One thing I noticed is the match-making could use some work. Many of the matches I played in seemed unbalanced in skill level. It could be due to the number of players on at the time or just too many new players, but I hope it improves.
@Jacanuk:
I don't believe that Microsoft's focus on NA as their primary regions means a lack of caring about Europe. Does that line of reasoning mean that Netflix doesn't care about Europe because they have only started to penetrate that market? Not at all. I don't think it's unusual for an NA company to focus on that home region. It's one of the biggest markets, and they may have more of an affinity for NA tastes/trends.
Why offer an even more limited amount of consoles in more regions, making every launch chaotic, instead of focusing on their main one? Maybe they could have waited and had a simultaneous launch, but that just plays into Sony's hands ever more.
After watching multiple videos with the Kinect failing to recognize Danny's accent, I don't believe it's hogwash that more work is needed. I'm not a software engineer, and can't speak on how easy or difficult it would be to patch this functionality, but I have to believe more work goes into it than that. The issues were so noticeable, Gamespot had an entire segment on it. I'm not saying there is nothing to your reasoning, I just don't think it's that clear cut either.
Not in Europe. X1 is tailored for US, Lets face it. MS doesn't give a crap about Europe or the rest of the world. It's not a huge surprise that X1 is doing well in the US
Why do you believe MS doesn't care about Europe or the rest of the world? Is it because the launch in those countries or territories is after that of NA? It's not a zero sum equation. And MS can't consider NA a safe region even though it's home territory, unlike Sony in Japan.
I think this news is surprising after the backlash and 180 after announcing the X1.
That's a really bad experience. Hopefully you've learned how to handle this in the future.
I purchased a store sealed copy of Dead Space for $9.99. I didn't open it for a months, and when I did, the disc was not in the case. I didn't go ballistic though because it was only $10 and I should have opened it sooner. In another instance I purchased a special edition of DOA for the 360 at Meijer. I opened the game that night and the only discs in the case were a demo disc and a burned DVD. That really pissed me off, because I was looking at a loss of $70 and this must have been a store employee that took the game discs and resealed the box.
Fortunately, I had opened the case that night, called the store, and they exchanged it for a copy of the actual game disc.
I make a point of opening the game case in all purchases now.
Well, you have every right to be upset with the choices that Microsoft made, but aren't these feelings old hat? Most of these decisions have been known about for half a year and some have been subsequently reversed. I would have thought the frustration had somewhat subsided by now and the decision to get the PS4 had been made well before launch weekend.
Have fun with your PS4.
@Ghost_Face:
I started a party chat with freinds...turned on party chat and all I hear is static when people talk..my buddy told me that he heard static from me too....
Whats your GT...I can demonstrate for you whats going on
My GT is Tony Rone. I won't be able to demo tonight. Lets shoot for tomorrow night.
Guys anyone having issues with their Xbox One headset, where all they hear is static when someone is speaking?
No, I haven't had that problem. Have you tried turning on party chat? That seems to work well, but you have to start a party, and people may be hesitant to start a party with someone they don't know that well.
I wonder why some games could have that problem? I started a co-op game of Dead Rising and couldn't hear the person at all until we turned on party chat. I wonder what is different about coding voice communications for XB1 over the 360? There should be greater unification with voice like there was on 360. I never had to join a party in Rainbow Six on the 360 to communicate with my teammates.
This is one aspect that I think has taken a step back from the predecessor.
