Hey, GS. Been a long time since i've posted here :S

I have a slim 4GB xbox 360. I bought an official 250GB hard drive for it, so that I could play my original xbox games on it. I downloaded GTA:San Andreas and I have Halo 2 on disc, but when I try to play either of them I get this error. "The game couldn't start. Try downloading it again.". Something along those lines.

I have no idea what's wrong with it and how to fix it.

Would that compatibility update on the microsoft website help?

I'm not sure what to say on the number of consoles you've went through. One of my consoles I have is from 2006 and it's still going fine so it can happen that they last. Beyond that, this is a post for the Broken 360 sticky. One thing I would say is that extended warranty cost like $24.00 a year, for the piece of mindmind it's worth it. Good luck.

Yeah if it does get fixed then i'll definately extend the warranty.

But all my other consoles were the fat models, i played 2/3 hours a day, maximum would be 6 hours a day. So with my 5th console which was brand new i tried to cut down on playtime and keep it well ventilated etc, so i bought a external fan and only played 2 hours a day.

I have an xbox 360s 4gb, and I decided to buy an old harddrive and take it apart to put it in the my xbox.

After this my xbox started to mess up games, I put halo reach in and it ripped it apart, it now has a big scratch all the way around it. Then i put halo ODST multiplayer disc in and during games i had to play without sound, and at the end of the game it would say disc is unreadable. So far with other games all i have experienced is stuttering and freezing for a couple of seconds at a time.

So i took the Hard drive out and it is still doing it, has anyone experienced this before?

should u just send it back to microsoft and see what they can do?

PS. If they can't fix it then i give up on xbox, i've gone through 6 xbox consoles in 4 years, it's ridiculous.

There's still quite a large amount of people that still play it daily (and nightly if you prefer night play) but the biggest problem with H3 online is that, since Bungie no longer monitors the Halo 3 servers, there are more hackers than you thought existed. So if you do get it, prepare yourself for the possible urge to jump through the screen and to the cheater's livingroom and slit his throat. But really, it can get pretty bad.aryoshi

It was fun but i preferred it when it was on the surface of mars not underground :P

I know red faction 1 did this but that was a long time ago and it worked for the game, with armageddon it doesn't feel right, it feels like alot of destruction is going to waste

Yeah I already got a few pages of basic sketches and Dialogue done. I Got a Panel where the Protagonist is walking past some marines in the middle of a conversation and one says " --He talks about some s**t called Operation Kaleidoscope all the time. What a joker--" This is a reference to Sgt.Johnson and the novel Contact Harvest.

Thats the only one i got so far :P It's hard thinking of halo references when the story is set before the other Halo games.
