Hey everyone,

Not posted in a while but wondered if anyone wanted to add me on Steam/Live/PSN for some multiplayer gaming?

The new website has lots of potential. But certainly needs work

My main concerns are the following:

• Videos are no longer playing - I can see the video controls but that's it. I have tried multiple browsers and re-installing Flash Player
• Unable to change my avatar pic - Clicking the "Select Image" buttons does nothing
• Unable to re-do my stacks/lists - Changes don't take effect, I get a message saying "Choose valid template" yet cannot see any option for a template
• Slow responsiveness - The new style looks quite nice but even on Virgin 120MB broadband each page can take about twice as long as the old site to load
• Not much personalization - One thing I think they[Gamespot] are trying to do is make your profile more personal and more of a social hub, but right now feels quite limited. I still cannot find a way of changing how the site looks like in the FAQ(i.e the darker theme etc)

I think this new style has potential and I really am looking forward to what it will be like when it's finished. But until then it feels like we are using it in Beta or preview rather than a fully released re-skin. But I am sure Gamespot will get it resolved in good time :)

Edit: I voted new site as I do like the new look and don't think it will take much to improve it/fix it

Not sure where to put this thread so stuck it here.

Title says it all really. I am looking to meet gamers in my local area(Medway, Kent) to share my interest in gaming. PC or Console gaming, I suffer with social anxiety and so find it hard to go out to meet people but I am not really sure where gamers go anyway, it is a hobby that generally doesn't involve going outside much which makes making "real" friends hard(i.e not friends in America who you are never going to meet).

Look forward to hopefully maybe getting some replies :)

P.s, mods feel free to move this if it is in the wrong place.

This isn't the only mod with its own page. Red Orchestra being another mod. 

I beleive it depends if the mod has the backing of a publisher etc. Plus Day Z is hugely popular right now so it makes sense for Gamespot to list it. Furthermore Gamespot will be doing coverage of Day Z soon and would need a hub to do it from

I think you'll find its 128x vertically. Same as the Pre-1.0 PC release

I'm enjoying the new NFS a lot, but most of the music is just plain annoying. Does anyone know of a way to put your own music in the game? Thanks.

In Need for Speed High Stakes when I was playing as the police i'd love to put in a music CD and listen to it from my BMW patrol car whilst parked up waiting for some speeding racers

ensure the card is properly seated

i've re-seated it multiple times, it sits into the PCIe slot nicely and clicks into place but to no avail

most likely a video card problem. are you in possession of your 8800gtx? try that out if you are.yellosnolvr

yeah the 8800 gtx works fine. i thought the 5870 uses less power, but then again i am having to use a 8-pin to 6-pin power adapter as the 5870 is PCIe 2.0 where as my mobo and PSU were designed for PCIe 1.0 then again, the card would beep if it wasn't getting enough power and would run in safe mode(if its like most cards anyways)

It is a refurb so i'll ask Asus when they are open next week as its the weekend and if they can't help i'll ask the seller i got it from to replace it or refund me
