Merle Dandridge, who plays Marlene in The Last of Us game also reprises the role in the show! So it’s not unprecedented. Also it’s a small thing, but missing details like that in articles like this show how rushed they are for the sake of clickable “content”. Just like a quick 2 minute search to compare the IMDb listings would tell you what you need to know and provide more context.

Small typo but it’s Far Cry 6 with the cock fights, like did no one proofread this? Also that game and 5 let you have animal companions you can bring into battle. What about other games that let you have animal companions fight for you like MMOs or games like Pokémon where they battle each other. Is it animal harm only if a sentient enough creature harms the animal?

What about animal on animal violence that’s not artificial like Tokyo Jungle? Would you consider a sheep shearing simulator to be depicting animal harm? They’ve been bred this way by us over thousands of years of course but if you just let their wool grow it gets to where they can’t see which is clearly more harmful.

I’m sure fish don’t enjoy being caught on a hook or eaten by either a human or other animal but that’s the natural circle of life. Is it harmful to keep and breed fish as pets instead of letting them all be free in the wild? If there was a game where you run a fish tank/pet store kind of simulator is that animal harm? What about like a cooking game that just shows animal products like dairy or eggs or meat like Overcooked or Cooking Mama. Then there’s Zoo Tycoon!

Stretch fucking Armstrong over here, but I guess I’m the sucker that engaged with the post. Gamespot please don’t pay people to clog up the front page with this trash
