Nobody in their right mind would want to change the storyline in FFVII... Obviously, people who would want that does not understand the story at all.

U guys claim to love the great ff games such as 1 through 10, then why do u turn ur back to the sole team who created the greatest of all time.....

The things u love most about the old ff games is going to exist in mistwalker productions, with nobuo uematsu compsing music for a lot of the futre titles of this co. that has me bought already. Mark my words those of u who dont own a 360 and for some reason wich it to burn in hell(?whataver i guess) there will be a game that comes out in the future and ur going to say... damnit i want to play that soo bad, i might have to go buy a 360

I've never played V or XII, so I don't have any opinions regarding those... FFIX and FFX was the two games which made me lose interest in the series(especially FFIX). FFX was a good game, but was in my opinion nowhere near FFVII and FFVIII.

Am I the only who seem to think that FFIX was a mediocre game at best? One of the things that really annoyed me about FFIX was  the characters. I didn't like any of them, with the exception of Vivi. And I thought the whole setting and artstyle was made too cute.

FFVII is my personal favorite, mainly due to the rock-solid story and it's great cast of characters. FFVIII comes really close to FFVII, but its story didn't quite capture me the way FFVII's story did. Still FFVIII is an awesome and easily gains a position in my top 10 favorite games list.

FFIV and FFVI is hard to compare with the Playstation games, but they are both excellent, though FFVI is slightly better. 

I'm not giving up hope just yet... I won't buy a PS3 just for the sake of one game(well, if it was a FFVII remake I probably would).

They'll probably realize that the Xbox 360 sells much better and is much more popular than the PS3(which is a fact, face it).
