No. A lot of the overseas people hack software protection and ship illegal stuff around. Console is a little slower to distribute, is not crack free, but makes them more money.

Someone will make a 'Fat Princess' like game, and then we'll all go buy it and be very happy. This is not a copyright violation as someone could say that Fat Princess is just WarCraft III, Bomber Command, network only game. btw Blizzard is trying to kill all their really cool free network stuff, move you to BattleNet and then make you pay for it.

All this is because of distribution channels, and just trying to get the user to pay 'something' for the game, with a HUGE-MONGOUS amout of overkill to make up for all the lost revenue hackers cause. I think if we all went to the store and actuall paid $50, we'd see less leased software, MMO subscription fees, more titles, better software, better hardware, developers that actually fixed bugs instead of rolling them in to the next sequel of the game (with more bugs). Then again...:roll:
