No one tagged me for this, I just saw it on Cousin Eddy's blog and thought it looked entertaining. Also not tagging anyone, just do it if you feel like it. 1. Put Your iTunes (or other music player) on Shuffle. 2. For each question, press the next button to get your answer. 3. You must write down the name of the song no matter how silly it sounds! 4. Put any comments in brackets after the song name. 5. Tag at least 10 friends. 6. Anyone tagged has to do the same, because fun pointlessness spreads like a virus. Do it! Don't cheat! It's creepy how odd some of the answers turn out... 1. If Someone Says "Is this okay?" you say Timeless 2. How would you describe yourself? Deceiver (am not!) 3. What do you like in a gril/guy? Behold The Wicked Child 4. How do you feel today? No Good (Attack the Radical) 5. What if your life's purpose? Outcast 6. What is your favorite motto? Nothing Else Matters 7. What do your friends think of you? Wolves Guard My Coffin (I have very imaginative friends apparently) 8. What do you think of your parents? Surreal 9. What do you think about very often? Mr Crowley 10. What is 2+2? Still Moving Sinews (my maths teacher would be pissed) 11. What do you think of your best friend? Spine (what does that even mean?) 12. What do you think of the person you like? Alimony (haha I'm a pessimist alright) 13. What is your life story? Inked In Blood 14. What do you want to be when you grow up? The Game Is On 15. What do you think of when you see the person you like? Karma Terminal 16. What will you dance at your wedding? Revenge 17. What will play at your funeral? Deadnight Warrior 18. What is your hobby/interest? Washington Is Next 19. What is your biggest fear? Primal Concrete Sledge 20. What is your biggest secret? Fox Boogie 21. What do you think of your friends? Drama 22. What will you put as the title? Onward We Rock
Well f*ck me, I check my "member since" status because I saw a thread in OT asking how long you've been around and I realise it's been five years to the day since I first stumbled onto a bright blue videogame site with "journals" instead of blogs and forums wider than the sh*tty monitor I was using. Been about a year since I've written any kind of blog so I guess I'll make the most of this one and reminisce and sh*t. It's crazy to think I've been here that long, I've logged onto GS for at least a little while on more days than not since more than a month before my 14th birthday. Didn't get active right away though, first time I came on I just added my favourite games to my owned list and rated them. I've hardly updated it since :P What got me hooked though was running across a place called the Dante Union. I ran across the union list and was confused about the ranking system, thinking being rank number 1 was the highest a union could get and the Dante Union was the closest Devil May Cry Union to rank 1 so I joined. A short while after this I logged on a night with ridiculously active posting between four of us, me, Bocoe, Paulokoenigham (sp?) and Morbious. By the time I finished writing one post there'd be two or three new ones for me to read. I'd probably consider anything that approached posting that much as pure spam these days, but I was just a young noob and enjoyed it a crapload. So that was what convinced me that I wanted to keep coming back to this site. Met a bunch of people there and whether we were laughing together or fighting (oh the e-drama!) the most memorable of the users I met there that I haven't already mentioned were probably Dante003, Eginja, Ahmedsadek and Dante's_Girl. And no one else that matters. I'm kidding of course Max, that's how I know AzelKosMos who's the only DU member I'm still in contact with to this day :P The Dante Union became the first of what I came to consider as my GS homes. My GS home is the union that keeps me coming back to this site, that I'd consider leaving it died and where I talk to most of the people that really matter. At most I was active in between 8 and 10 unions at any time, though since with the notable exception unions really aren't what they once were i now only post in the RPG Temple and Off Topic forum. After the Dante Union declined my GS home changed to the Iron Maiden Union (Lorda, Eddy, Sup?) which in it's prime was probably the best union I've ever been in (don't taze me Templites!). But it was not meant to be and despite it's greatness the union was based around too specific a subject matter and too small a community and it died. Thankfully by this time I had become a regular at the seemingly indestructible community of the RPG Temple and it became what looks to be my permanent GS home. (even if it is the only home that never wanted me as an officer, hint hint Ron >_>) Special shout to the Metal Gear Solid Veterans Union, The Final Reunion and Braindead Blonde Society for being particularly enjoyable parts of my history in GS too. Particularly the MGSVU which probably would have been my GS home for a while if the Maiden Union had died earlier. So yeah, that's my time on Gamespot in a nutshell, i hope someone reads my blog despite the fact that I almost never post anything in it :P
There's a prize for whoever guess what happens for the 18th time today, though I've pretty much given it away to metalheads.
I think the title about covers it. I'm heading there on the 22nd, coming back on the 29th and I need crap to do in the meantime. I'm going with my dad and I'm staying in a hotel near Central Park. Anyone got any ideas?
So as you may have noticed (unless it's specific to my friends list) the recent trend has been to create a giant list of all the games (or RPGs) you've completed and I've decided to join in.
However another thing I noticed is that I couldn't be bothered in the least to read anyone else's, so naturally i assume all of you won't give two sh*ts about mine. Which begs the question; why on earth would I bother? As you may have noticed by it's absence, the answer is i won't. But it has been a while since my last blog, hasn't it?
So recently I've been posting on OT a little due to boredom. Naturally enough, posting in places where the National Socialist Party patrols eventually leads to moderation, so after being clean for almost a year and a half I guess I'm back to boldly going where (to my knowledge) no user has gone before! I wonder if I could get to 50 moderations without being banned, that'd be pretty cool :P Not that 42 isn't a great number itself. Moderated post was unlikely to particularly bother anyone that chose to view a topic called "Banned...what would be your last words?", but after checking the TOU I guess referring to coprophilia was technically against the rules. So I'm not too bothered, the post was deleted and nothing else. I thought my 42nd moderation would get worse just for quantity, but I guess going easy since it's been so long might be a rare case of moderators using reason. Nah, it was probably just an accident.
Angela Gossow zombie  Never thought I'd ever be tempted to go necro before, but there really is just something so incredibly awesome about that. Makes me wish I could photoshop anything near that too. (oh and in the unlikely event that it comes up, I call sig rights on it, just have to get someone to make it for me)
Celebrating post counts after you're here long enough to not be a n00b is lame :| I'd just like to point that out. Also I have more posts than the recent bout of people who seem to care about post counts!
Oh wait, I forgot that's not a holiday over here. I was just feeling left out cause everyone else was doing it :(
It was mine today. Wasn't a great day (bar the free money of course), but it wasn't terrible either. Later.
