I was a bit perturbed by Jeff's firing. In fact, Gamespot, I have this to say to you...

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you want one and cannot afford one, you will be provided with one.

Oh...why are you being Mirandized? Simple. Your firing of Jeff is, technically, an illegal act. His job is that of a game reviewer, and as such he should not have to told to give a good review just because some game developer pays your company a ton of money to hype it. That's called bribery and fraud, and Gamespot will now possibily face sanctions, fines, and perhaps even jail time for their actions. Not to mention the fact that Jeff can sue (successfully, I may add) for unlawful dissmissal.

Bottom line...you screwed up and you screwed up bad. I'm sorry for being confrontational about this, but it's your own fault.
