[QUOTE="Foolio1"]

The game looks nice, but I played it at PAX Prime and wasn't really impressed with the driving physics. I know it is supposed to be arcadey, but the cars were doing things that I wasn't expecting. Though one of the guys at the booth said that PS+ Members will get a special "lite" version of the game with limited cars/modes or something like that, so basically a massive demo, so I might just do that and decide whether I want this or NFS at launch.

That's my biggest concern. Arcade is fine, but I need my driving physics grounded in realism and predictable. Some of the things I've seen are iffy at best. I'm going to hold off my judgement until I've tried it myself or gotten some more first hand impressions from other racing fans.

Yeah, at this point I would say try the game first. I only got two laps on a track to try it out and I think it's just one of those games you need a bit more time to familiarize yourself with. I was doing better on the second lap, but things just felt a little weird. I wouldn't advise to buy it outright. I love racing games so I'm going to get either this or NFS, but I just don't know which yet.

I read an interesting theory on this exact topic.

Essentially, we are used to seeing ourselves in mirrors and have a sort of control over how we perceive ourselves. With cameras, that is taken away and as a result we are generally unhappy with the image because it fails to match our normal perceptions of ourselves as seen in a mirror.

[QUOTE="YoshiYogurt"]I'm from around Detroit, and I can tell the bailouts have helped immensly with getting Ford, GM, and especially Chrysler back on their feet.

KC_Hokie

Ford didn't take a bailout and Chrysler was bought out by an Italian company.

Ford still took money. They weren't the only ones though.

Sadly the only thing keeping Disney from bankruptcy is Pixar. They have fallen and hard.

Pirate700

No, that would be ESPN making them all the money.

It's easier to just assume they all lie.
