I have mixed feelings. I dont like a lot of it but then you get artists like Royksopp, Robyn, Yello, Tricky and The Future Sound of London who utilize electronic very well. Unfortunately most pop artists these days make electronic music sound dull and lifeless. I like the combo of electronic and orchestral or various other instruments. Makes the music sound more alive and layered. It all depends on how well it's done.

I ask this as a fan of zombies in any form of media. I love a good zombie movie, but recently I've realized that there isnt much that has been done with them. The only change I can think of of is having them run and in the case of Return of the Living Dead, talk. The best zombie movies seem to be more about the humans which is interesting but it also highlights how dull zombies can be after a while. They haven't evolved in years. I think more has been done with Vampires than zombies. There are much better Vampire movies than zombie movies.
It's a shame since I like zombies but what can really be done with zombies to make them more interesting?

I read the first book and it just seemed like a dull erotic romance novel. Like a crap version of that movie Secretary without the depth that movie had. Now it's probably going to be made into a movie I'm curious how that will work unless they just don't hold back when it comes to the sex.
Vincent Price.
I have a lot of respect for the guy but there are many songwriters I prefer over him.
[QUOTE="Film-Guy"]4 sucked for me besides the ending...5 was one of my favorites. I thought a good deal happens in 5.It's one of the best book series I can think of. That being said though books 4 and 5 are much slower paced than the others. Not a lot happens compared to the first 3. They are still really good, but in a different way.
Chutebox
I agree that 5 is more active then 4, but I will say that the Dany chapters dragged on a bit long. After a while she became a bit annoying. Hopefully she will actually do something more interesting than staying in one city for way too long.

This bickering back and forth is really silly. As a Brit I accept that English will change over time. I don't personally like it being simplified too much because I like words in general and having a rich vocabulary. I don't see a point in making a word shorter, however I am willing to accept the inevitable, even if I don't start changing the way I speak instantly. For example when I text I actually use complete sentences a lot of the time unlike a lot of my friends. It takes longer but I'm not usually in a rush, just as I am not in a rush to say a longer version of a word.
