Preferibly on netflix.

I watched Insidious last night (2nd time actually, didn't really payed much attention the 1st one) and now I kind of feel like watching another scary flick.

 

Any recommendations?

I would get, without a doubt, Hotline Miami--indie retro simulator goodness. 

In order to answer your question as it is posed, the person playing the games would have to possess the capacity of diagnosing themselves with depression which is highly unlikely, tremendously so.

People who truly suffer depression often times would never find a reason to even turn a game on, and if they did for the purpose of escaping reality, that is one of the worst things they could ever do because it will only make things worse in the long run. Don't confuse having a bad week/month/year with depression, they're not the same thing and our society has severly blurred those lines.

You need people who suffer from depression to tell you whether or not video games are a distraction for them...

How do you know any of us suffer from depression? Your teacher is going to rip you apart when you try and pass whatever you get in the poll off as a legitimate statistic.
