@stickemup: It's really not about valuing your time or money. It's about having an opinion of your own, because that's all reviews ultimately are: published opinions.
Did you want to play this game really badly beforehand, or was it always just a "maybe"? That's important. If you were always lukewarm about it, then a bad review turning you off makes sense. But if you really had your heart set on it and the fact that some people didn't like it instantly turned you off from it? That's kinda sad to me honestly. A lot of other reviewers liked it well enough, do their perspectives not count? Or are you saying Jordan is someone you trust?
@stickemup: I don't understand why some people can just so nonchalantly say, "Wow guess I won't be playing this/watching this" at the drop of a hat when you were planning on playing it before. How can you be so casual about skipping things? Do what you want but for me personally if I really want to do something, nobody is going to dissuade me.
@mogan: I have questions about this review as well but I have to agree, the comments on this are way out of line and very fragile-sounding. Speaking of "fragile", I think people forget that Kallie also reviewed Death Stranding and gave it a 9. And Red Dead 2, also a 9. But nobody seems to be upset about that!
Interesting. I played a good chunk of the first one and ultimately lost interest in it; I didn't hate it though, it had potential. Very curious to see more of this. I'm always down for more Souls-like games, inject it directly into my veins.
Good to know. Multiple people I know have told me they're skeptical it'll hit that release date, if ever. I reject their pessimism, but I can't really blame them either. Here's to hoping it releases then, and with considerable aplomb. With deserving high scores! :D
