@tingtong: Guilty Gear -Strive- had the best launch in the franchise's history, beating Street Fighter V and Mortal Kombat 11 (the fighting games with the biggest player base on Steam) in all-time concurrent players on launch day.

And while the lobby system sucks (everyone agrees with that), the netcode itself is literally the best in the genre. You can even play with some people overseas without any noticeable lag.

This is by far the biggest fighting game release of the year, the fighting game community was hyping it up for 2 years straight. Rest assured you won't have any problems finding people online to play.

@aspeeedyninja: You're on the wrong game mode, dood. Training Mode is meant to practice what you ALREADY know and test different scenarios against a customizable dummy. It's actually one of the most robust ever made. If you want to LEARN combos, go to Trials. You can find them under Challenges. There's even a mode called Demonstrations where you can learn the intricacies of each character.

And Sagat is not at the end of the SFI timeline because he is yet to be released. Each Arcade Mode path is gonna be upgraded as soon as the relevant characters get released, there's nothing to worry about.

@sum_guy09: You realize how stupid your comparison was? No offense intended, really, but you couldn't be more wrong.

2D Fighters =/= 3D Fighters

Being different doesn't mean it is better. Vastly inferior on what sense? I can argue the same about Soul Calibur and Tekken because I prefer 2D fighters gameplay over the 3D ones, so what? Side-stepping, interactive stages, "annoying" cut-scene moves and such are not present in 2D fighters for a reason, and it is not even remotely related with "evolving", but I suppose you don't play them deep enough to realize that.

Anyway, I have my tastes, you have yours, everyone can have their own. But you liking red over blue doesn't mean that blue should "evolve" to be as good as red for you.

@marcheegsr I don't think so... Xbox One, PS4 and Gaming PCs are already fairly popular in Brazil.

@dashboardman @FaeLKuN @shinyyoungster Yes, it is difficult. You're simply defending the game because you like it some way. The game is released, you can buy it now, so a proper review can be made. Scheduled things and promises that are far away? I want to know how the game is now. If they don't wanted to be "misjudged", then they should have waited more time to release the game properly. In its current state, this KI reboot is a complete rip-off.

@dashboardman @shinyyoungster Still cheaper than any other fighting game out there? Yeah, great load of content with its HUGE roster of... 8 characters. Imagine if Capcom did this for SSFIV:AE or the upcoming Ultra... the game would cost over nine thousand D:

Whatever, you said that it is unfair to put faults on a game on things that where not previously promised by the developer... so, if a company releases a game without promising nothing at all, and the game turns out to be bad, you can't take points off that game on the review because, you know, they did not promised anything? I don't take your point.

To me, it would be better if they focused more on platforming rather than action, I miss these kind of games... but well, the game looks good this way too (:

@kingcrimson24 A good GTX 670 can already run Crysis 3 at Ultra. No need for a 770 (:

@Salt_AU @FaeLKuN @MAD_AI Why should I need to upgrade to play on console quality? My PC is already far better than the next-gen consoles, and they have not even been released yet... lol laughing really hard xD
