Holy hell thank you!! I've had this console for 7 years and I never knew that existed. I never had this problem before. Thank you so much!

My friend gave me one earlier, and I tried using it without realizing I didn't have memory for it. I went in and cleared some space and when I had to go back to re-enter the code, it told me it was already redeemed.

Can somebody please spare an extra one for 360? The only reason I haven't pre-ordered is because I don't know yet when I'll be purchasing a next gen system.

Funny, I never pre-ordered it and I still got that edition just for going to buy it regularly.

I'm at sequence 5 or 6 and doing a lot of exploring/uncovering in the frontier. That seems to be the only place that I've ever seen any guard dogs. And with that, I've only seen about 2 so far in all my time playing. Killed one of them.

I hope you know that your review of the game means absouletly nothing when you haven't even got past the first two sequences, especially when it is well known that the first three are a slow start to build up characters for later on. If you find yourself not even being able to even complete the first three sequences though than maybe this type of game just isn't for you, because I really enjoyed the first three sequences, especially with the *Minor spoilers* plot twist which really shook things up.LLYNCES
This. Like he said, the first few sequences start off slow (according to the general consensus, at least. I still had a blast playing through them). Changing your review based on a few short hours of gameplay that amount to a marginal fraction of the entire game really doesn't mean anything. You are entitled to your opinion, sure. But give the game a chance before dismissing it entirely just because you didn't get to kill everything and everyone spectacularly right off the bat. I just don't understand where everybody's patience has gone. It's like there's a whole segment of gamers out there who are literally the anti-hype machine - people who just latch on to the "slow, sluggish, boring first sequences" and then decide the game is committing heresy because of it. Instead, why not appreciate what the game is doing for the story, and that it takes the time to introduce you to all the new functions/changes in the game (of which there are a lot).

Completely disagree with OP. I was able to take my time and really enjoy the first few sequences. Took me several hours of play time only because I like to look around and see the new environments. The city of Boston is beautiful to look at and it feels more alive than the other games (maybe because of all the animals and kids walking around now also). Point in fact, the first few sequences add a great deal of story to the game. It was very interesting and I thought Kenway was an intriguing character to play as. The twist in there blew me away a little along with my friend who was watching me play (familiar with all the other games). We both laughed at Desmonds interjection. I agree with CPLCaboose. Gamers today seem to whine and whine when their games don't have enough substance, but then when it's right in front of you, you complain that the game is too long and that the opening sequence didn't involve the most possible ass-kickingness in all of ass-kickery. The game has problems, yes. Some bugs, yes. But it's loaded with content and storyline, enough so to keep you satisfyingly occupied for a while. Your lack of patience doesn't reflect the quality of the game.

I've been playing the game, taking my time and really enjoying everything it has offered me thus far. Loving it all!

Except when I got stuck killiing a few Redcoats along the frontier, and then filled my notoriety all the way. Now, if this was in the main city, no problem...posters, bribes, etc. But since I was on the frontier, I had no idea how to get rid of it.

It was causing an enormous problem in my exploration for viewpoints, hunting, and convoy saving because I can't travel more than a few hundred feet before having to fight another patrol of some sort. I love fighting, but I was getting sick and tired of it because it was literally getting the in way.

TL;DR

The only thing that dropped my notoriety was leaving to Boston and coming back on the frontier, and even then I still have one notch in there so I still have to worry about being investigated all the time. How the hell do I lose the notoriety on the fronteir?? I haven't seen a single poster anywhere, let alone anyone to bribe and such.

You seriously, have that much trouble following the buttons? They do appear quickly, I'll give you that, but following the button prompts allows you the opportunity to kill (thus skinning) 3 or 4 wolves at a time. The button prompt will always start with B (the game's dodge button) followed by any one of the other buttons.
