Dude's and Dudette's. E3 doesnt have to be some HUGE yearly thing anymore. Why be confined to some public building? When you have the interweb! Think about it "Cosoles" Live 3 to five year's. Keeping in mind that they do tend to come out a year apart between the different companie's. But anyway. Think about it. As the so-called "next Generation" of games slowly settles into the curremt generation. More people will have access to it, and be a part of it. But like, the point that I want to make is that E3 can still be about the gamer's and the demo's and the footage. It's just the medium that may change. I mean, dont we download demo's and game footage as it is? XBox Live anyone? You know PS3 is gonna have the same thing. PC demo's get downloaded all the time! GAMESPOT anyone!? Or even from the companies themselves? Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo are making it more friendly for the deveoper's this way. "Ok, get our point across at the hotel place for the press, THEN, let's get back, and totally get the demo up on XBox Live! Letting the community recieve our point that way, and then!..." Understand? Instead of massive display's and Asian hotties, they can spend the moolah on, most importantly, the games themselve's; as everyone has already pointed out. But instead of spending the precious saved money's on plane ticket's and hotel room's and food, and whatever else. Spend it on the TV, the "Console" and the interweb service. Gotta go to some expo just to geek out in public? PAX, or ComiCon. Or any other number of stuff that will most certainly evolve from this change. The actual reaching out to the gamer's is already under way. Another poster mentioned something about how game releases will be like movie premier's. TOTALLY! How'bout them apples? Goin' to the decided building and meet the folk's that MADE the game? Have them sign your baby? Or other...bodily part's? Get cool premier swag? Dress up!?!? Sound familiar? Nothing "Comes Out" at E3 Anyway, at least in the sense that we can buy. and Now'a'days thing's are being made more and more tight lipped to tease the hype. Let the press monkey's do their "Hotel" thing. Let them then post on sites and in magazines what they saw and heard. Let us come home from work and downlaod the footage and demo's! Lut US, as the avid gamer's who CANT afford the plane ticket's some times, or cant get E3 into our schedules, enjoy the "Content". Let us stand erect out of our bean bag chair's and Lazy Boy's to cheer in triumph and glee as we just played and beat the demo to a game we've been waiting for!!!! Or trailer we've just watched! LET US GAME ON!!!!!
