Playing the original rpg maker on the playstation, while at first seemed like an awesome idea from the start but after 6 hours i felt like i should be recieving a paycheck. It was more work then fun and after spending about 4 days makeing a little scenario my friend went through it in less then 30 minutes. I felt unfulfilled really. I'm sure there are plenty of people who love creating there own little game, minus the schooling, but personally it just wasn't my cup of tea so to say. Just my thoughts on the game.....

FPS's are actually great recruiting tools. Look in any videogame magazine and right after a CoD/ Battlefield ad there is an Marine corp ad.

@ BruceCambell

You are so exactly right. It's easy to bash someone elses creation when that person has never created anything themselves.

Agree totally, I'm 27 an consultant for H & R Block, with a mortgage, beautiful wife and a son, but I love the hell out of gaming. My parents think i should be playing golf on the weekends or yard work but i would much rather "pop some domes" on Call of Duty. My wife is in full support of my hobby so no you are not to old. Keep doing what your doing my friend and don't change for anyone but yourself.
