I'm still waiting for Amazon to ship mine. Â Very sad face.

Hey All -
Media Go! is up if you're interested. I don't use the PC Software much, but I loaded it up a few minutes ago and was pushed to a site for a mandatory update. Have a look:

I often feel frustration at the ads and I think I'm justified. I subscribe to Gamespot to avoid the ads: I'm happy to pay for exactly that reason. If there's one benefit we should have as Gold Subscribers to Live it's no advertising. The service is great, amazing even, but the ads for movies and chips are intrusive.
Remember, too, that we pay for most content -- it's not as though the ads are necessary to support watching movies or playing arcade games. I'd point out, as well, that we don't have control over the wallpaper in the marketplace blade and that this is often given over to advertising. I'd be less irked if the ads were strictly for 360 games and peripherals, but they're not. Paid subscribers should be able to skip the ads. I don't think that's unreasonable.
This was posted by PSP Fanboy, but I thought should make its way to the Forums here, as well.
From Joystiq, a guide on installing themes: http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/11/the-joystiq-guide-to-psp-themes/
From Uk Playstation, a series of themes for you to use: http://uk.playstation.com/home/news/articles/detail/item78695/
I installed the Wipeout theme, then immediately changed the wallpaper to something more my taste. The Wipeout icons are pretty cool.
Enjoy!
Somewhat randomly I hit the network update icon this morning and had the message come that a later version than the 3.7 is available. I'd heard about this in the forums, that the change would bring new features. It doesn't look like it, though: It simply reads, A correction has been made to the settings for some regions. Apparently, the PS Spot icon that appeared under Network in the XMB wasn't meant for our region.
Ohh well, it's still an update.
