The first is mostly similar to normal point & click adventures, like Syberia. The second is actuallly more interactive as you directly control the character.

I love the series, The Longest Journey and Dreamfall are my two favourite adventure games.

If your PS3 is backwards compatible, Persona 3FES and Persona 4 are the best entry points in the series imo for newcomers. If you want more of a challenge, Digital Devil Saga.

If not, there's Persona 3 Portable on the PSP.

I'm not sure about the series on other consoles, I've only played the PS2 titles in the series.

I was going to say San Andreas for nostalgia sake, since I spent SO many good hours on it. But imo GTAV is a better game and I'll be putting just as much hours into it. So I voted GTAV
