I would have prefered the Steam version, but since I live in Europe, no such luck. Maybe I should go all digital and boycott games that I cannot legally download. The other problem is that online prices are often 20% higher than retail. But anyway, that's another matter.

So I got the boxed version, and I really only have one problem. Running Vista 32-bit with a 9800GTS. Others seem to have this problem as well. If I use any anti-alias at all, either set in the driver och by changing the multisampling value in the game from the default of 1, the game will crash after a short while, and sometimes even freeze the whole machine.

Even with multisampling set to 1 I have had crashes, but only just with the game itself, and they haven't been a real problem.

Another bug that I had was when I had two gamepads connected. When exiting the game the mouse pointer would move upwards on the screen at a high speed, basicly making the mouse unusable. The solution to this was unplugging the unused gamepad. If I started the game while having that problem with the mouse, it would open in windowed mode. The solution here was of course alt-return.
