I don't trust reviews by Kevin V. His points of view are overwhelmed by other free games that he gets to play at the office, so that he rushes through games in order to get a review up on GS. My opinion, like Kevin's review, as no basis more reliable than a meandering experience of going through life. Experience it through your own eyes.
@Dragorro And I pay for that $hit - oh well - eventually when you eat too much your sides start to stretch and when that happens people start looking at you differently - and stand off.@Dragorro @Dragorro
Wonder how much those figures are going to cost. Please no more than 5 bucks a piece. Unless each character brings with them new levels, editing items, missions, etc. 10 bucks for each Skylander was a bit much when all you get is a digital version of it in game (not including the adventure packs). If they're planning on June 2013, that's very ambitious indeed. Don't be a rushed product...please!
Activision- just make a level editor in Skylanders and you're golden. I like the ideas Disney Infinity brings, which will make Activision and Visceral try new things with Skylanders. Toys to Life is a market I'd like to see more diversity in. Sales will shift towards Disney Infinity, but I don't see Skylanders being affected as long as Activision allows new ideas to surface. If Star Wars gets into this I can see some big competition. Time will tell. I can see myself collecting those toys and playing with my girls. They will love this stuff.
I respect the need to morn, but destroying violent videogames, that's a bit extreme. They would need to burn viloent paper and digital books, movies on DVD(BluRay), CDs and digital music players all portraying viloence. Also they would need to ban violent TV shows from airing and ban the showing of violent films at theatres. Anyone watch Footloose? Same extreme thinking going on here. My heart goes out to the families, but don't misdirect pain and anger toward a single act. Will they be destroying all guns as well? Connecticut will create a black market for gamers there.
Blaming videogames for violence would mean that anyone playing violent videogames could be judged as an accessory to violent crimes. We do all need lawyers.
Driving games blamed for vehicular manslaughter, first person shooters blamed for mass shootings, horror titles blamed for phobias, beach volleyball titles blamed for sexual assault cases, horrible idea to blame videogames for violence attributed to a lack of interesting political videogames, retro game Paper Boy blamed for error in daily newspaper deliveries, and motion gaming blamed for accidental slappings. Do we gamers need lawyers?
Ghost-666 I own ZombieU (ZU), and I highly recommend it if you own a WiiU. How does ZU compare to COD Zombies (COD:Z)? In a nutshell-ZU's main campaign should be played in the dark and alone. You will be scared, you will have to manage what small valuable inventory you come across, and you will die alot-only because you could have prepared better. If you have a second player in the house, then ZU Multiplayer (ZU:M) is a blast. Player 1 acts as the ring leader (dropping in Zombies whereever they touch on the gamepad's top down map). Player 2 survives while killing endless Zombies until death or captures zones against an unending horde of Zombies. Zombies are spawned by Player 1. COD:Z has a faster pace than ZU:M.
