These are assumptions. Assumptions are a form of arrogance. It is an arrogant and presumptive statement to make, having never played this title, that it is 'exactly the same as the previous two' and that 'it does not bring anything new to the table'. Those are hefty statements to make having no hands on experience with the game. You are correct in saying that these statements form your opinion, but the manner in which you framed it is less than means for an inviting debate, so stop the whole "innocent guy who's being attacked for having a dissenting opinion" routine; if you wanted to have a discussion, try to look like less of an a**hole. After watching video this game looks like 8/10 at max. It does not bring anything new to the table. It is exactly the same as previous two.

That wasn't a mod it was one of the official expansion packs (developed by Gearbox i think, back when they were unknown) called HL: Opposing Force were you played as Adrian Sheperd, a member of the military death squad sent into black mesa to kill all the scientists (and Freeman) but instead end up becoming seperated from your squad and fighting for you life against the xen, and eventually working (unbeknownst to you) for the G-Man.
It's a great expansion, definetly worth a buy but its not as good as the original. The same cant be said for Blue Shift im afraid (although back when it came out, the then older expansion Opposing Force was packaged in with Blue Shift just to sweeten the buy, which was good considering Blue Shift can be beaten in less than 4 hours)
Ok this is a battle between Guitar Hero 3 and Rock Band. My pick is Guitar Hero. I don't care if Rock Band has more instruments. It also needs 3 people to play and have fun.BigAdamECU
For the most part, its absolutley just as much fun playing solo drums or guitar as it is playing GH by your self
It's also costs a crap load of money. im not about to pay as much as a small console cost to buy a game. That is just over doing it just a tad.BigAdamECUThe wireless bundle for GH3 still costs 89.99, Rock Band's bundle price has dropped to around 141.99 now (amazon.com) that isn't exactly breaking the bank considering what you get for the extra 50 bucks.
Guitar Hero was the one that started all of the instrument usage on the console Rock Band just stole the Guitar part and added to it putting American idol and that gay drumming game you see in arcades.BigAdamECUHarmonix, the creators of Guitar Hero 1 and 2 sold off the series so they could go create Rock Band, they cant exactly be stealing from themselves now can they, and Guitar Hero was most certainly not the first rhythm game to come around anyway. And good job making yourself look like an imbecile by insulting the drumming portion of the game, isn't it a prerequisite that before you pass judgement on a game you have to atleast play it first?
Guitar Hero 3 also has better songs and pretty good graphics. Take your pick. Rock Band or Guitar Hero 3? Post alot.:twisted:BigAdamECUSongs are subjective, so really its either way on that one, all though i will say have fun with your No Doubt Track Pack, just take a look at what DLC content Harmonix has been serving up to us.
