Highly unlikely but maybe another level 5 game? Only reason why is most of level 5 games are involved with some theme or robots/machines or some sort and this trailer gives me that vibe. reminds me of something like white knight chronicles and rogue galaxy. Wasn't there something about level 5 making a new game and some speculations were a Ni No Kuni sequel... But maybe it's a new game such as this game.enz2

You're right, there was speculation of another console Level-5 Game and Japan Studios have worked with them before so it is not out of the question. I really do hope it is a next gen sorta game because it looks so smooth

Haha so true, I guess i was so excited and surprised by the art style that I overlooked that fact that atlus' name wasnt on it. And I agree i feel like this could be an excellent Vita title because the system does need to get kicked into gear. I just hope whatever this is there is some sort of cross-play with which ever sony home console they choose. If this is a new IP I'd be ecstatic but, like you said, this gen has been so starved for new IPs my expecations are rather low for that. Fingers crossed tho

Here is a link to a video that came out today for a game called Panopticon.  If I could guess based on the art style it seems like it could be an SMT game but I am not really sure. I'm curious what you guys think and what platforms your thinking it might be on. Im hoping they can pull it off on the vita, maybe some cross play?? It seems to have multiplayer as a feature so it could be some type of Monster Hunter kinda deal. Let me know what you guys think!

BTW for anyone curious a panopticon is a tower that they use in jails/prisons when inmates are outside. The tower is used for surveliance but doesn't allow for people outside of the tower to see if anybody is in there or where they are looking. It's kind of an ominous sort of idea so perhaps that can be relevant to the game?

Gotta say, Inglorius Basterds has got to be my personal favorite. Waltz's performance is the epitome of a memorable antagonist imo. Also the classic Tarantino blend of genres is eloquently portrayed in the movie.

I think Nintendo somewhat created this problem where, families wanted to get the Wii cuz it was a family console. That was years and years ago though and those families with kids who played Wii all the time likely have grown up a bit and maybe changed their preferences for gaming. Nintendo did an awesome job of grabbing a bunch of nongamers/casual gamer/families and getting them to buy their products whether it be software or hardware like the Wii fit.

I am not saying only children played the Wii, I simply mean to state that Nintendo clearly targeted casual gamers as their consumers for the Wii and thats what helped them sell so many consoles. Now, some (not gonna guess a number) of those former casual gamers are perhaps more hardcore then they once were. Meaning that the Wii U can't really hope to target the same group as before and hope for the same success because part of their target group has changed.

And personally, from what I have seen regarding the Wii U's titles, its lack luster with very few mature titles that are actually worth playing, let alone, exclusive to the Wii U.

it does need more games, but motorcycle games should be the least of their focus for the system

No order but these are games that I think will influence future games indirectly or directly in 10 years:

-Dark Souls

-Xenoblade Chronicles (partially because of how it came to America)

-Metal Gear Solid 4

-Portal

-Bastion

So I had been waiting and waiting for the demo to come out and when it finally did I was bouncing off the walls. So far I have played through about half the demo from I can tell (and have pre-orded since playing) and wanted to start a topic to ask a few questions (because some aspects are vagee) and see what spells/choices you have all made so far.

Personally, I have been sacrificing everything I possibly can. Although I can't really tell or see if there is a damage difference or buffs going on with my spells, maybe its just too early in the game. The combat thus far seems extremely fluid and fast paced and I get a sort of Dark Souls-ish meets Monster hunter kind feel but thats just me.

Also a few questions of my own:
-Martyr rewards, what are they and are they obtainable through the demo?
-After completing quests there is clearly some type of ranking, does anybody know all of the possible ranks?
- I attempted to start another character too but was told I had to save over my previous guy, anybody find a way around this or do we only get one guy for now?
-Is there a way to tell how many charges a spell has WHILE you are fighting?

 Happy hunting!

Anyone beat the gamne yet?

i just beat it.. truly breathtaking.

finalstar2007

I beat it yesterday, very awesome. I enjoyed the story and thought it was exceptionally well put together, I really am hoping for a sequel too or something similar at least, the story didnt leave things unanswered but still allowed for growth of the title through other games.

Was kinda salty about that one errand post game with the golden honkys and the scroll of truth being nearly impossible to get unless you decide to wait for gold glims to pop up which means battles can take (at least my highest record) 35 minutes.

Ive now sat down twice to play and just clocked in 20 hours and I feel like I do have so much to do between raising famliarty/stats of my familairs, leveling them up, catching new ones and doing all the errands, its nuts and awesome. So far I also have thought the difficulty has been spot on, given it is easy in parts there are plenty of interesting fights that are so lively that they really dont get old... at all...
