You realize they are only saying that now so as to prevent a sales decline on current Gen ;)

This is messed up,I mean it plays one NTSC game One so far.Maybe I should store it again and do it over xD.Still trying other games but no joy so far.What the heck happened that it played an NTSC game.Turn it off and back on and it still plays it perfectly.Weird is not the word for this :S Well I definetly wont be buying another import xbox.Geez I really do have bad luck with Microsoft consoles.Got three red lights on my 360 and had to buy Mass effect twice.Its in for repair atm.But an unmodded PAL console playing an NTSC game is one for the record books.Out of curiosity I tried all my NTSC games on this console a few years back.Im guessing its just a once off

i knew it was too good to be true.It will play Terminator:rise of the machines,but so far no others.It still plays my Pal games but not DVDs.This is weird.Well I havent tested all games so far.But it seems strange that a game that did not previously work in a pal machine does now.Its been in storage since I got my 360.Has anyone else here ever experienced anything similar :s

All I can say is omg!!!!!!As of 4am Irish time my pal xbox(not360) is now playing both pal and ntsc games.How is this you ask!!??.Well to be very honest with you I have no idea.All i know is that I cant bloody sleep and I had a hankering to play doom3 for some reason :s.So I took out my old xbox,set it up and inserted the disc(pal),It made a few strange noises so ,I ejected the disc and cleaned it.I then proceeded to reinsert the disc and sure enough it played away fine.I then decieded to stop and watch a movie.Being lazy I said f it Ill watch the movie on the xbox,too tired to hook up the dvd player again.

mY OLD XBOX TOLD ME THAT MY DVD COULD NOT PLAY IN THIS REGION.I was like wtf its an Irish dvd and works on my 360,ps2,dvd player and ps3.So I thought okay just for fun I'll insert an NTSC game(Terminator rise of the machines).To my absolute amazemeant the game loaded up.So I am sitting here now playing an NTSC game on a non modified xbox.Im half afraid to turn it off in case this never happens again.

When I moved back home from California to Ireland back in 2003 I brought back an NTSC xbox and about 30 or so games with it.Thinking ahead before I came home I bought a 120/220 power converter.To my dismay things went horribly wrong and my xbox got fried.So with a saddened heart(lost all my saves on the HD)I ordered another NTSC console.Things went pretty well for a while until one day it started playing games in black and white,then nothing no power no nothing :(.So I said to hell with it and put my games in storage and many years later this amazing night has happened.

I am totally bemused by all this.I swear on my life that this is not a hoax.How in the hell is this possible.I aint complaining and I think I am only too deserving of the MIRACLE.So now I have a lot of unplayed games to get through.I can play Ninja Gaiden aganWOOOT.
