Lost, Dexter, The Walking Dead, True Blood, House, 30 Rock. I considered The Killing but by the end everyone hated that nonsense. Do people like Terra Nova? If so, that too. Buffy, 24 and The X-Files if you consider their entire run.

I wouldn't put those shows as overrated, more like shows that lasted a season or two too long. Other shows that i feel fall under this category are Scrubs, 70's show, Roseanne, and most recently The Office.

They can be both old and new

30 Rock, Entourage, Dexter, Walking Dead, Glee, Family Guy, basically any tv show that CBS comes out with (Other than How I Met your Mother)
