I do not recommend APB at all. I used to play it when it still had the subscription model, and had some pretty good fun with it. When it went free to play, game pretty much went to s***. I mean, you basically pay real money to "borrow" most of the weapons I already unlocked, and charged some pretty insane prices to keep them :?. The best thing they did for me was allow me to transfer my original character and threat level (thank god I unlocked most of the good clothing), but every weapon I unlocked before was pretty much snatched away, so my hard earned rank is pretty much useless now. As for other MMO's, I'd recommend Fallen Earth. It's a F2P game now, but for the most part everything I know and love about it is pretty intact. If anything, I noticed that some crafting ingredients that were a dime a dozen is oddly pretty rare to find, but still not enough to pressure you into subscribing (yes, it's free to play, but you can subscribe monthly for some boosts in the game :P). Yeah, I know...6.0, blah blah blah. But I was hooked on Fallen Earth for about a year and a half.Check out the Steam F2P section. Theres GCI, ABP etc.
