@anthracisb @DemonRax Yeah... God dammit, we live only once and it's quite short journey. And being a scientist also let me realize that we won't be able to explore the universe any time soon... That means games are our only chance to fantasize and experience it.
@mkeezay22 @DemonRax Yeah, I suspected that, that's why I left bounty hunting for the last :D Thanks for the offer, I might PM you, but in space sims I think the "lone wolf" mode is the funniest. Well, IMHO of course...
As a nuclear physicist myself I always notice wrong stuff in games. But... games generate fun not by being absolutely accurate. It's all about "self-consistency", as David said. If it makes sense in the game universe and it makes the game enjoyable - it's not about science then.
Been playing E:D for a while btw, great game, I love it. At first I did some trading and delivery contracts, then bought a ship and tried mining, and then some trading again. Now when I got better ship - I'm going to try out the piracy and bounty hunting. But I'm afraid that's it. It'll be great to have more content in there, in terms of quests or story line or whatever. Kind of Squadron 42 in Space Citizen, looking forward to it too...
@zellar1 I don't really think it's about bugs and stuff... They need to move on to something fresh. I personally think that moving into modern/futuristic concept might be a nice try. Dunno...
