I don't want a book that has swearing or sex in it.

because i believe that full government control gradually removes personal responsibility from life.

dissonantblack

"Socialism" doesn't mean "full government control." It means quite the opposite. Look at the root of the word, "social". Socialism means THE PEOPLE working together.

Unfortunately, some socialist countries have given Socialism a bad name...

most people are working hard at erasing bad memories as we speak. drinking, smoking, drugs, numerous other activities--all designed to lose yourself, and forget.EMOEVOLUTION

Most drugs don't serve in erasing bad memories. I suppose depressants and intoxicants can assist in "numbing" these thoughts, but at the same rate they can intensify emotions resulting from past experiences.

No. Bad memories teach lessons that are valuable. optiow

What about memories that were placed into your mind from something involuntary?

Example: A four year old child being abused by their parents. What lesson is to be learned from that?

Note that when I say "bad memories", I'm referring to memories that are unpleasant to remember.
Sometimes I wish I could get rid of memories like these.

On the other hand, some bad memories are important because they provide a premises as to what processes should not be repeated.

Anaal Nathrakh uses a drum machine; they only have drummers in live performances. That being said, the drummers that take place in their live performances are very good, but can't completely pull off the sound of their studio albums.

[QUOTE="mexicangordo"]

[QUOTE="Bluestorm-Kalas"] Ehh, if you wanna talk "Metal Realm" of good drummers...metalheads themselves can sniff out the fast, but sloppy drummers versus the fast/talented drummers themselves.

Bluestorm-Kalas

Im not saying they can't, Im just saying that the one's posted were not that great and I know people here have posted tons of great metal drummers before. :P

I posted George Kollias of Nile and he's pretty legit. :3

I second George Kollias. When I read "As I Lay Dying" I LOL'd.

Quo Vadis also has an awesome drummer. Also, DEFINITELY check out Exivious, they are a great Jazz-Fusion band and have an incredible drummer. But keep in mind that drummers with very fast double bass and/or blast beats are a dime a dozen now a days...

Remember, while speed plays a factor in musicianship, it does not necessarily make a "good drummer."

I take this into consideration every time I use it. Whatever happens, happens.

[QUOTE="xaos"]TC is the coolest guy in all of 9th grade!Pirate700

 I was thinking the same thing. He might even have a 10th grade following!

I'm not talking about air-duster here. I'm talking about something that actually produces noticable effects.

Plenty of adults use drugs, whether they're legal or illegal.
