On the 360 version of the game. i had moved back to the 2nd continent to explore Trum Coast for a bit of exp and the items then came back to the 3rd continent to get started on my 3rd generation playthrough.

Ive had the game sieze up on me 3-4 times now during the first battle map. Best I can figure its something related to one of the moves causing the game to glitch up ( a friend had a very similar issue in Agarest War Zero so its the only hunch ive got to go on) during the battle, some moves have worked, then when others are about to make an attack including the mercenary enemies the music will cut off, animations are still going on the battle screen and once i go to execute a move or the enemy does it just siezes up. You can see the little circle toward the bottom right hand corner of the screen spinning as if it was loading, but it just sits there 'loading'

EDIT: Unistalling the game data then re-installing seemed to fix the problem, forgot to update this last night stating that.

import doesnt do me to good sadly, my copies of Agarest and Zero were on the 360 :( so i wont get ne imported save perks lol, i dont mind. I just wanted to have an idea on the story/plot/timeline and connections to the other games before i got back to playing them. Ive been told elsewhere "However, while this game takes place in the same universe as the prior 2 games, it's an alternate continuity. In other words, it has the same settings and a few characters but the story is more of "what if it happened this way" instead of continuing where Agarest 1 left off. But don't worry as the story is totally different from the other games. " so i guess that sounds about right

So ive been digging around off and on online for the past few weeks, trying to find out if Agarest War 2 has any story connections or fits into the timeline at all to the previous Agarest titles. Since if it does then i will keep it put up until it does until ive finished the first 2.

Of course if its essentially an all new game unrelated to the others then I may give it a go now.

Has anyone found out if there are ne story/plot or timeline relations between the this and the other two games?
