Actually, there was a news story about a couple of weeks ago that Sony is looking to patent an external BC device for the PS3, you can read about that in the news section. about the whole idea.. i prefer HD remakes. anything with better HD graphics on top of a great story like some of the games that were on the PS2 is so welcomed by me.
thanks guys, i think it will be also very good if Gamespot put that in the Game Details page, like if their's a prerequisite for that game that must be played, it will help a lot of people, especially the ones that care about the story more than most things in the game.
i know this can't be generalized for all games, but should i play previous titles in the series to play a game properly? i didn't play or wont play the following games thinking that i must play their predecessors: 1- Fallout 3 & New Vegas 2- Mafia II 3- Deus Ex: Human Revolution 4- Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days 5- and Killzone 2... i actually played KZ2 but in the end i felt i should have played the first.. and more... but u get the idea. and for the games that aren't released yet, this is a good time to play previous games if the answer to my question was Yes.
Nice!! i loved Killzone 2 and i can't wait for 3, i couldn't care less for the 3D, if its so good i'll use it, if its not, well i still got my 2D, i just hope they fix the controls a little with this one.
i think its how society shaped mentalities all around, i mean, both nudity and violence are wrong, but violence has been happening a lot more than nudity that it has become somewhat acceptable. but then again, doctors and everyone are promoting safe sex but they're not promoting safe violence, its a twisted situation here. if you come to think about it in terms of satisfaction, both deliver. which is wrong? both are wrong. what's more "logically" acceptable? nudity and sex are... i don't think anyone will find an answer here.
it depends.. if i was in a bad mood i definitely wont start a game with a story i need to focus on, instead i play a game just to take my mind away from things, like online FPSs or racing games or something like LBP. other than that, my mood need to be good and set for 4 or 5 days to play a game and finish it. my latest bad experience with such issue was when i started MGS3 about a month ago and i still didn't finish it, and i just cant see myself playing it from the beginning all over again... but somehow i have to.
