Guitar Hero World Tour
In a couple years, when we're reviewing Guitar Hero 13- Second Reunion Comeback Tour, the only thing we're going to be able to say badly about it is that it lacks innovation. Because let's face it, it is what it is. It d... Read Full Review8 of 11 users found the following review helpful
Far ahead of it's time, Soul Calibur was graceful and perfectly balanced. Even after two sequels, it's still fun today.
Far be it for me to pigeon hole all fighting games as button mashers, I'm particuarly fond of the Soul Calibur series for being the one game to stand out of the crowd. Maybe it's a bad frame of reference, but I downloade... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith
Sometimes you can name something and right off the bat know exactly what you're going to get. For instance, if I said I was going to make you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you'd probably figure that you would get t... Read Full Review7 of 7 users found the following review helpful
Guitar Hero: On Tour might have been enjoyable if the hardware wasn't a complete and utter pain to use.
Next week, we're going to play Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, and we're all going to love it. The Guitar Hero formula just works. Muck with the formula, however, and the results could be disasterous. We should have seen this co... Read Full Review6 of 12 users found the following review helpful
The bar is lowered again as God of War's copy & paste formula and brain-dead gameplay fails to be any fun at all.
God of War is back, and now you can enjoy David Jaffe's giant turd sandwich wherever you go, thanks to PSP technology. God of War's main design team, consisting of trained monkies and impressionable hacks have put out th... Read Full Review6 of 44 users found the following review helpful
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
Resident Evil is the game that launched a phenomenon. It set the standard for horror games, and terrified gamers for sequels to come. Now, the DS makes use of it's impressive hardware by porting the game in full. That's ... Read Full Review7 of 18 users found the following review helpful
Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition
Devil May Cry 3 is chronologically the first game in the series, which puts you in the shoes of a half-demon named Dante. It acts as a definitive apology for Devil May Cry 2, a wreck of a sequel that was hailed by many a... Read Full Review0 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Final Fantasy X
Excelling marvelously in every possible way, Final Fantasy X is a masterpiece in every sense of the word.
Final Fantasy X is only five years old, yet it already feels timeless. Serving as the first Final Fantasy title for the Playstation 2, Final Fantasy X made use of the hardware and brought the first signs of definitive li... Read Full Review1 of 3 users found the following review helpful
Aside from the failed and superficial fluff, Rampage is the same game as it's predicessors, for better, and much worse.
When Rampage: World Tour was still popular in arcades, my grandparents would take my sister and I to the arcade to blow all of our quarters on that one machine. It was a fun ocassion, and I was still too young to tell a ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Vincent's story needed to be told: A fun and well-made Action RPG/ Shooter is how Square chose to tell it.
Dirge of Cerberus has been the topic of debate for quite some time, and with good cause. It would be a crime to tag any game with the beloved Final Fantasy VII name without putting extra care into it, which is why many g... Read Full Review10 of 10 users found the following review helpful
Since 2004, racing games have had a lot to live up to. As Final Fantasy 7 set the standard for RPG's, and when Halo set the standard for First Person shooters, no racing game has been able to come close to Big Rigs: Over... Read Full Review17 of 33 users found the following review helpful
It doesn't break any boundries, but it serves its purpose in creating a 3D beat 'em up adventure for your pocket.
I won't lie. I went to see Dead Man's Chest in theaters twice already. As good as the movie was, I've been played enough movie based games to know that they're usually lacking in... um... you know, that thing that makes ... Read Full Review3 of 3 users found the following review helpful
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
A suprisingly fun story mode and old school style shooting makes the third Timesplitters a certified Halo 2 killer.
Many cans of soda have been drinken and many bags of chips have been devoured in my basement over a heated 4-player splitscreen match of Timesplitters 1 and 2. With my stubborness to find new friends to play these games ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Star Wars: Battlefront II (DVD Edition)
Last year, Lucasarts released the shooter, "Star Wars Battlefront", which many hailed as the best Star Wars game based off of the movies. The only thing that was missing was the lack of Episode 3 levels, such as Mustafar... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
