Thank you for the reply. I wasn't aware that EA was hosting the servers for BF1943 - I've assumed that Microsoft always does that on XBOX Live. A lot of people are still buying the game only to find out that they are not able play it - at least not at their convenience. If that's really true, Microsoft should mediate or take BF1943 off the market until availability for the game has been fully restored.
I'm surprised that Gamespot has not reported on the issues that folks are having with connecting to Battlefield 1943 games on Xbox LIVE (perhaps PS3 as well). The game becomes completely unavailable for entire eveningsespecially over weekends and holidays and the issue seems to affect almost all of my friends who own BF1943 and usually play daily.Waiting to join a game will not help as noone can join a game. I really think the rating of the game for your review should reflect that - after all, it's a gamethat's limited to multiplayer and without a connection, there's no game to play. Shouldn't the rating be a flat zero when there are no servers to play the game on?
There's a petition on the EA's forums to fix the issue but DICE, EA and Microsoft have been ignoring players for months now.
