I actually think it will be 599$ and then after about 6 months if it doesn't sell too well then it will go down to 499$. I don't think Microsoft will sell The Scorpion for a big lose at the start and then make another bigger lose after a few months like Xbox One S, PS4/PS4 Slim/PS4 Pro.
Microsoft need to sell it for as much as possible but it all depend on which game they have for the Scorpion at the release time. If they have many games I think they may take the chance and release The Scorpion for a big lose and make all the money from Software (games).
Maybe they will revive Scalebound!!
Not that I outright disagree, but $599 USD would almost be a death-mark over the thing. The PS3 only managed to pull it together after a price-drop, and some actual heavy-hitters in the games department.
yea, if Microsoft walks out on stage and says "it will be available this holiday season for $599 US dollars", I would be seriously surprised after reading the tech analysis and DF predicting a price of $499 based on those specs..
The cheaper the better of course. I just hope that there will come enough good AAA games with the release of The Scorpion and not like Nintendo Switch where there is only Zelda Breath of the Wild. I bought Nintendo Switch because you can take it everywhere and because of Zelda but now that I'm about to finish that game and Persona 5 is here so Nintendo Switch just gonna collect dust until some fine games will be release this year (hopefully...).

@jun_aka_pekto: I can't remember Fallout 3 Weapon durability system but I just hate Zelda - Breath of the Wild system lol. Still I keep play Zelda BoTW :/
I don't like weapon durability in Zelda - Breath of the Wild because everytime I open a chest I know that no matter how good that weapon is its not gonna last long. I really wish before you start a new game then you can choose the old weapon system or the new one.
Instead of that new weapon durability system then Nintendo should make something like if you collect 2 of the same weapon then you can make that weapon stronger or at least make the durability last longer and you can repair it at a Weapon Smith or something like that.
When people tell other to reinstall a game its because their game doesn't run like other people. Like you say, textures problem, Frame problem ect. So most of the time by reinstall a game will help fix the problem or Reset your PS4 to factory setting (like when you first time turn on your PS4).
Everyone's PS4 should be the same so it should run the same (except Internet lag). So if your game doesn't run and feel good like other people then it might be a problem in your game file (like missing some files when you download the game, shutdown PS4 in a middle of a game ect). When your PS4 shutdown in a middle of a game it may corrupt some files so that's why reinstall may fix it.
I'll only buy Dragon Quest Builders for PS4 and Battlefield 1 since I don't have much time to play anyway. Dragon Quest Builders Demo was really fun and I always buy Battlefield game since its one of my fav. multiplay game. I already bought Dark Soul 3 Season Pass so I'll just download and play when the times comes :D
