About 2 weeks ago i purchase a Ps3 and my very first game, Metal Gear Solid 4. Now I have to say i'm really pleased with the purchase because i love the game and the series to death.
My question though is the following: (and if its been answered before i'm sorry, i tried looking through the forums already and lost patience)
I have a 40g, now i understand the OS takes up about 3 gigs which is why i started with about 37g which is common knowledge for anyone who owns a PC. But what the hell is eating all my space? All i have on it is MGS4 and it says MGS4 only takes up about 4600MB on the back. This should bring me down to about 32-33g, instead my HD is already at 26g. The only other thing i have installed is the 77mb MGS encyclopedia. Looking at the install again for MGS4 i see it's at 5600mb or so now, which, okay i understand because of its updates and installs which is fine, but still that brings me down to 31-32.
What the hell happened to the other 7g's it says im missing?! I installed nothing else except the firmwear upgrade. Why am i missing a whole 7 gigs when there is absolutley nothing, and i mean nothing else on my harddrive.
Someone please shed some light on this information.
EDIT: Ok just added up my saved data (love to save alot in case i die) and its 2224mb. Alright 2g down, 5 more to go.
