Well, here on the western shores, we got FF2 which was the easy version. Then we had the psx version, which was the hard version. FFIV DS is considerably harder than the hard version. By default, the game is exceedingly hard, but you also have the decant abilities. The game is very much possible to beat, you just need to use your brain more than usual. For example you can use Cecil as a tank, have him lure all the attack focus on him, and use Bubble (which doubles everyones HP, like FF12) and another defensice skill which reduces damage by 75% I believe.

I'm not too sure about some of the deeper mechanics as this is the JPN version and I have very limited translation methods.

They do cut you a little slack. In most FF games if you got hit with a back attack you couldn't run for awhile. They let you run fairly early here. If you get hit with a back attack you're as good as dead, even near the beginning, so just run. I can go further into detail if you like.

Read my review :P It's an excellent game, clearly aimed towards the more hardcore players due to the crazy difficulty. Everything you do feels like an accomplishment, instead of steadily going through the story.

DMC1. CanNOT get used to that game. DMC3 was a breeze mostly though. Got it the end of december, going through very hard on SE now. (equivelant to Hard on the regular edition). Hopefully it gets a bunch harder though.

FF12: Rev wings the day it came out, and have regretted it ever since.

I'm lookin to put some money down to buy a new DS game but I don't know what to buy. I know I'm getting dungeon explorer in a couple of weeks but meh..

I love how IGn talks about how the wii isn't slowing down in 2008. The wii hasn't started yet. it released a couple of decent games and has since gone completely dead and there is no sign of revival in 2008. They'd better start making games instead of exercise tapes or they're gonna lose their newfound target audience. Skipping rope and baking pies only goes so far, we need GAMES!!

Even if he did pay you, it wouldn't make up for it. If you got your money back then ok.. How do you plan on finding another wii? Good luck with that.
