Oh me oh my. I must say I'll have to find a big surface to take the picture on, since my DS, games (BIG part of it), and accessories are all in different places. Expect another post eventually.
No. I can get the weather and news from my Wii, PC, TV, and newspaper faster (maybe not faster on the Wii, but it was on there already and the Wii is right by my bed...).
It really doesn't make any difference which system you're talking about, leaving the disc in when turned of will not harm a thing. Unless, of course, you're planning on moving said console in which case you deffinantly need to take it out first.
