Yeah, sorry for skipping last time. Took a vacation and totally forgot to come back. Then a friend got me DW7 + Xtreme Legends for my birthday and I suddenly remembered again. Sorry. :P
i've owned an HTC EVO 4G, and Palm Treo, a Palm Pre, and an iphone 4S, and I will stand by this statement to my dying day: the iphone is very much superior to any of the others I've owned. their apps work, and spammy/glitchy apps are all but non-existent in the marketplace. on top of that, the IOS version of an app almost always looks and operates better than the android version. keep in mind I am far from an apple fanboy. another nice thing about IOS is that my phone hasn't gotten slower as it's gotten older like my Palm Pre and Android phone. Apple keeps developers from hijacking your hardware with unnecessary network traffic and all the other crappy things that lazy developers do when they can get away with it.Bruneauinfo
That's all well and good but two of my friends are crazed Apple fanboys that buy anything that falls out of Apple's behind so I'd rather get an Android just to annoy them. :P (That and decent Android phones are about half the price of similar Iphones here)
It must be nice to have politicians you can have even an iota of faith in. The UK govt, all the parties (labour is probably the least worst), are just vote pandering buffoons that do nothing but bicker and speak balls. The current guys in charge promised not to increase tuition fees but they have been increased from around 6k dollars a year to a whopping 15k dollars. Which is insane. Not only that, they said they would absolutely not cut the health budget......but now they have laid off 5000 nurses (in a country the size of the UK that is huge) and are closing down a dozen A&E depts. All the while, bankers are being given tax breaks and incentives to carry on doing their dirty deeds. Banking has been turned into such a dirty business and my country is so intertwined in it that it can't pull itself free.wonzan
That sucks, this recession has hit our healthcare pretty hard too, we've lost many doctors and nurses to better paid and less stressful jobs in Norway. I don't even think we have 5000 nurses in Iceland. The leaders of our old banks are still being sued with a few of them behind bars. At least the government is keeping the banks on a short leash this time around.
