Lulu thats an awesome way to play haha.

I hate getting discovered. Been playing MGS V Ground Zero lately on PS4 and I got bored and ended up running around seeing how long I could last just picking up bodies and throwing them at the guard, then picking up that guard and throwing him at the next and so on...

Generally though, I dont mind killing the odd guard but I dont like to take them all down as it starts to feel unrealistic. I like to be completely un-detected, I'm just not good enough to achieve it.

Hi need some advice. My Mobo is a MSI-7series motherboard from around 2009 I think. I know its a socket 775 intel chipset and a Q6600 with some Corsair DDR2, 667mhz ram.

I plan on doing a rebuild but because of the work I do, I need a lot of Ram. So as a stop-gap solution should I shell out for this..http://www.ebuyer.com/370069-corsair-16gb-ddr3-1333mhz-memory-cmv16gx3m2a1333c9

or will this DDR3 1333mhz ram not work with my socket 775 MSI board?

Cant get the full model name of motherboard until i get home tonight.

Some of you make me laugh, asking for new engine, half of you dont even know what difference a new engine woulkd ultimately mean. A new engine would visually still involve, geometry (triangles), displaying various textures, mainly a diffuse, specular, normal and alpha map, with some dynamic lights and the majority being light maps baked into each asset. Finallly there would be some AA and a few post proccessing features. That is easentially the old source engine, same as the Unreal engine, same as CryEngine 3.

The difference would only be in optimisation and physics, both of which could be added to existing engines. The main difference an engine woulkd make is the workflow by which games artists get games assets from 3ds max/maya/xsi etc into the game. Epic don't launch a new engine each time they bring out a game, they update the previous engine but update a few features.

[QUOTE="meetroid8"] Fine then, let's just look at ,MW3 the highest selling game of all time. What was the disparity between PC and console sales? 14 million? There are a thousand different examples. Consoles are doing better than the PC now. Get over it. meetroid8

If you're going by sales alone then the wii is also the best console, which by your logic I guess means the other consoles are dying. And I guess Modern Warfare 3 is the best game ever made, and all non-modern warfare 3 games are dying. Friendship is magic!

I never said anything about quality, If a company starts hemorrhaging money it will die. The same logic applies to hardware. PC games aren't making as much money for publishers as they used to, hence why formerly PC exclusive franchises are going multiplat instead.

The high-profile developers tend to, but for every developer that transitions to consoles, a load more indy developers bring out a game for PC because it is the most accessible for independant start up devs.

HL2 has some of the most diverse gameplay styles of any game, survival horror, vehicle sections, boss sections, puzzle sections, one minute you're moving through a section at break-neck speed and the next you're solving a physics based problem just to get to the next room....if thats not varied and great pacing...I dont know what is...

..also, you haters are in the minority, most people love it :D

PS3 over PC? The only word that can describe that is... ew.

meetroid8

Yeah, successful trolling requires more subtlety. You can't just go full retard and expect results, you know?

How is this trolling? PC has been slowly dying for years. I'm not just making this up off the top of my head, consoles have been gaining more and more market share, PC is little more than an after thought now. Most major publishers no longer want to take the risk of releasing a game exclusively on PC and choose to go multiplat instead. Just look at games like BF3 and Crysis.

lol exactly, every year, the PC is dying yet for some reason it never actually does, does it???
